The upper part of the right rear door with license plate is the chop buster. I can’t quite hook up the cable above the lock actuator

, in my case the spherical cable head has come out of the lock system. How to fix the perical end inside the lock system.

Take the panel off, reach in and actuate it.

Take the inner panel off, reach in and pull the whole cable.

Pull the interior panel off, reach inside, grab the cable and pull it, it will open it.

Why do they make such cheap inferior plastic products that will be subjected to frequent wear and tear? Should be ashamed of themselves with such poor quality.

I guess it made it since 1997 so I'll cut them some slack. But I agree it's annoying when these little parts break.
