One lesson never stop your engine when it is stuck in water especially if silencer is under water...coz once u start the ignition after switching off the water will enter through silencer pipe...n that will damage your engine....coz I almost ruined my Scorpio s11 4wd engine once...n got this suggestion form my mechanic

I don’t understand the intent of such activities, why causing this agony to your car just for testing and that too in such extreme conditions. Off-roading doesn’t mean on river driving. I own a gloster 4*4 but will never let it through so much torture just for the sake of proving the worth of a 4*4. Be safe mate!

Well that terrain is very difficult, those who have done offroading would relate and that was a very critical position in which the ford was stuck, forget the car, in such situations most capable vehicles would also go off if the driver doesn't control in the manner required. Good job to the driver. And i read some comments about the waterbed being disrupted or something, and the water would be filled wid engine oils and fluids. What nonsense is that, does the engineers design vehciles to leak these in the open? And also I read one comment that its a locak route for village and you might disrupt it So whoever wrote that, answer this, in such or any high altitude terrains, how do you think the food you eat, the raw materials used in household chores reach to you? Via trucks i guess? So what are trucks? Are they some kinda teleport technology or an automotive vehicle?

After this video, I realise what was the need to go there and get struck which lead to expensive repairs, no car is a full off roader unless and until it is a monster truck or a military tanker. Either of these also fail some times in some conditions

While the Vehicle is stuck while deep water wading....and transferring into 4x4 is not helpful then it should be put in 4x4 low along with locking differential. Then it will overcome

Differential lock doesnt help if Both wheels on the axle are spinning free. Its only for situations where one wheel has strong traction
