Front heater not working on your Ford Escape? Suspect blower motor problems? Before you decide to replace the blower motor, make sure to check front blower motor fuse and relay ( 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | XL | XLT | LIMITED | HYBRID ).
Both the fuse and relay are located in a small fuse box under the front hood:
FUSE #12 Blower Motor (40 Amp)
RELAY 21C Blower Motor Relay
To test the relay, try replacing it with one of the same kind just next to it and see if it makes a difference.
