This Mkii Ford Escort RS2000 has been fully restored into a hardcore tarmac rally spec Escort with a built SOHC Ford 2L from the UK that redlines at 7,500rmp, puts out 190whp and is mated to an aluminum flywheel, AP racing clutch, race-spec close ratio dog box, locking rear diff and weighs in at just 1,800lbs, it is the petrolheads dream.

There’s normally a long drawn out process for British citizenship, you have to know the names of all the queens corgi’s, the height of Big Ben (to the nearest millimetre, Winston Churchill’s star sign etc. But for your efforts in restoration of this RS specification Mk2 escort (even if the steering wheel is on the wrong side) your passport is already in the post.

Thank you! Appreciate your support in my early days 😁. Hah it looks like a window deflector you keep in your windshield on hot days but it’s actually just the way the polarizer on my camera picks up the glass. Beyond that I don’t know why it appears to be different than most windshields.
