Nice, glad it’s working well for you. Looks like a nice unit. You were talking about vehicles being straight forward, and it reminded me of a video I found the other day. The cloth belly pan under my transmission on my 2019 FX4 got wet one to many times and fell off about a year or two ago. Not a big deal, but I called the dealer to see if they had a solution other than just putting back the same flimsy part. They did not. I am always looking for hacks and mods and the other day I came across a video of a guy installing the metal belly pan from a Raptor on his XLT. He bought the pan and a couple of extra bolts and clip nuts, and it bolted right up! Gives better protection to your transmission pan, and makes it harder for someone to steal your catalytic converters. The part number for mine is a HL3Z-7222-E. That’s why I love DIY videos, never know what you’ll learn.

I can tell by your terminology that you're an Apple guy and not an Android guy lol. I have this in my 2019 XLT and using Nova Launcher seems to be the way to go. I wish someone would Root the tablet so we can remove some bloatware off it and maybe even update the Anrdoid version since its Android 11 which came out 4 years ago.

Thanks for update, I installed this recently on my 2019 F150 Platinum but it seemed to have an issue with the USB extension/ s. The USB issue completely shut the system down. I decided after the time I put into installation to just uninstall it & return it. It did work well as long as the USB wasn’t moved or touching any other devices. My son liked it to & he is a system administrator, programmer, developer, etc. what he didn’t like is android being 4 years old with no future update. I was very impressed but I am very much an Apple user as is my whole family. The system found my wifi in my home as well as my in-truck wifi. It worked well with my 360 cameras. We didn’t find anything that was a deal breaker except for the unfortunate reality it can easily be taken out with such a simple issue. Also thinking about it not being updatable bothered me due to security. We normally get rid of Apple devices once no more updates come usually keeping them 4 yrs max. I didn’t get past extensive testing so I have limited long term knowledge. The Sync3 worked well although it was slightly stretched. My buttons mostly worked well but not as smooth as factory IMO. since mine is a Platinum the button order Left to right is traction control/ combo w/ hazards & 360 cameras/ auto stop. I really wanted it to work & thought it was really nice looking. I didn’t have any trouble installing although it could be intimidating for a novice. I’ve worked with car upgrades since I was a teenager & don’t consider my self an expert but definitely not a novice. I’m probably going to be getting another new F350 truck soon but may keep this one since it only has 23k miles.

As someone who knows engineers who have worked on vehicles, it's a lot more complicated than you think.

On my truck I have the backup camera that uses mirror cameras and shows the sides of truck. I need that for backing in my garage. Does this have that? Also can you change the backup photo to your truck? I see yours showed a car
