1956 Ford Fairlane, this beauty belongs to my uncle. He’s almost done with a complete restoration and it’s looking incredible. He's put his heart and soul into this car, and in this overview video we also give him a hand on the paint job. Thanks Car Craft Auto for the shop time!

Love those old mid-50's Fords. They're like large scale T-Birds with a back seat.

I loved the mid 50s Fords ! I had 2 Victorias, a blue and white one and a black and white one What i really wanted and never had was a crown Victoria in Tropical Rose and white. I would still buy one if i ever came across one !

I loved my 56 fairlane, it had technological advances over the similar looking 55. It was the first year with a 12 volt electrical system using an alternator instead of a generator. A collapsable steering wheel and even a station seeking radio. The weakest part of the car was the susceptibility to salt corrosion. Rocker panels rusted out quickly in the northeast. It always had a look like it was on the move and easy on the eye.

Do you know if all Fairlanes after 56 had 12 volt? I’ve got one out of 59, but I am not quite sure if it got 6 or 12 volt

Love the 56 Fairlanes, the white makes the yellow look tan, should have went with a darker yellow maybe mopars yellow jacket that is on their challengers.

They just don't make 'em like this anymore... No wonder the older generations (and some of the younger generation ) love cars.

I wonder about claiming a “true” restoration as that motor never looked like that in the Fairlanes, maybe it should be called a resto mod. And I have history with mt first car, a 56 ford Victoria, which was owned by 4 different members of my family from its first purchase.
