I think the price should not be more than 2.5 lacs even if the condition is very good because as per market standards that fiesta as low resale value. Though technically car is very good and if the condition ks exceptionally good and well maintained , then u may want to pay more for this. For car condition , u should check the accidental history(bonnet Patti, all 4pillars should be ok and not repaired,there should not be rusting inside bonnet, in the boot well,suspension should be fine and should not have any leaking shockers,no thud sound should be there, engine should be in good shape and not repaired/tampered, also check for any warning lights in speedometer ! Spare parts availability will be a bit of concern as this model was sold in very few numbers and ford genuine parts will be costly. Please checkout for some spare car market in Punjab as in delhi , there is this market at the back side of isbt kashmere gate where u can find spare part of any car !

Complelely agreed!! Sadly true for spare parts. Fiesta classic was probaly the last ford in india with a costly service. Figo onwards , things have changed a lot !

I personally feel ecosport suspension is good and comfortable. Mextcar with nice suspension is ford freestyle. I drove kia seltos ,suspension was ok but not very comforting. I could feel harsh thuds in potholes. Not driven the new creta till now. Best suspension is there with jeep compass. Its ride comfort is even betterthan fortuner or endeavour. After compass , i like the suspensikn of innova crysta.

9 in city is ok for this car. How much fuel efficiency people fetch out of i20 -12,13 Swift/ignis-14,15 In city. I dont see anything to be done with its mileage. Do u have any plans for new car ? Either buy ford freestyle or polo TSI or vento TSI rapid rider tsi. And keep ur fiesta with u for 2 more years till its validity, drive it less but njoy the life because loving a 13 year old fiesta is no less than a marriage for true enthusiasts!

It will be valid till 2027. The price can be 1.8 lacs for this. But u can pay 2 lac also if the condition is very good like body panels , rusting etc and engine condition, ac, steering,gearbox etc. Get the condition checked properly

Used fiesta's will be older models . u will also face spare parts problems. on the other side , Aspire is the new model and it will be in production for quite few years atleast(ensuring no issue with spare parts). also there are low level technological improvements in newer models that company can't expose(like engine tweaks etc) acc to me , buying used aspire makes more sense over used fiesta in general. rest it will also depend on which condition car(fiesta or aspire) u r getting and for now much to come decide a better deal

Facelift fiesta was also very nice jn terms of steering feedback, driving dynamics. It got discontinued because of low sales, low sales because it had less space inside and price was at par with hyundai verna, so hyundai verna made sense tp everyone. In case u r looking for buying that used fiesta, u can buy if the car condition is good because as a product it was great car.

Hey Deepak , My apologies as my previous reply was w.r.t Verna diesel. Because fiesta has very low resale , a 2011 fiesta diesel will be under 2 lac in any case. Because the car is valid only for 10years , I will be valid till 2021 only . So ideal price for this 2011 fiesta shud be 1.2 lacs

According to me , major negatives to bargain are : 1)Discontinued product by ford in India 2) low fuel efficiency 3) rest u can bargain on car condition like dents/tyres condition/insurance renewal date / any major repair needed /Ac service needed or gas top up and as Joy Nagpal mention , 2 lacs is not justified . ACC to me , ideal price shud be 1 to 1.5 lacs based on car and engine condition. 1.5 if condition is extremely good .

Yes the spare parts are easily available in ford service outlets . If any part appears to be costly in ford outlets,u can also get spares from local market. Last resort to find any car spare part is delhi ISBT kashmere gate market for spares !

Service cost for fiesta diesel is aprox 8K every 10,000 kms. Spare parts are available in local market and you may have to wait for sometime(only in few cases) if you are buying from Ford ASS!

There are following ways 1) change the suspension This is costly affair 2) get bigger tires after proper research on how much you want to increase gc 3)use coil spring spacers like Rogerab This does not increase gc but reduces suspension travel during bumps/breakers Use this at you own risk because this can damage your car suspension

If u feel this is one rare genuine fiesta and owner does not negotiate , then you may want to shell extra 25K on this . i will suggest try to negotiate for 2 lac(and start negotiation with 1.8 or 1.9 maybe) !
