I reached 160kmph by figo 2012 model. It's pickup and breaking system just beyond the comprehension just love this car and I beat breeza , swift , i20 with this car. Very satisfied

My ford digo diesel has 2.5lakh kms and no issues at all. It's all about how to maintain the car. Calling figo unreliable is not acceptable

I have never felt power lag in this.. power delivery is owsm even at low rpm that is Not the case with maruti cars... I drive swift as well.. it is in no comparision with figo in terms of power. You press the paddle and get the power in figo..... 4.This car is so stable and confident that even at 150+... it feels like you are driving at 110

Thanks for the great review and its one of the most detailed review on KZfaq. I bought Figo in 2011,and as a real owner of TDCI Diesel ZXI i have only positive things to say. 1. I have driven this car for more than 1 Lach Kms and i have never faced any reliability issues. 2. This car is solid in terms of quality as nothing has failed till now, Including the swtiches in music system. Everything works. 3. The performance has not shown any signs of degrading. It feels much better than cars of today. 4. The AC is Figo in bigger in CC capacity and performs much better for india conditions. 5. The boot space in this car is great and rear seat folds flat for additional space. I have done house shifting in this car and never really had any issues while travelling with family. 6. Its great handling car and really satisfying. The best place to be is the driver seat. 7. My servicing cost has been around 4500 for periodic service every 10K Kms. The only big bill i have paid is for 36,000 at 80K kms when i changed Brake shoes on all wheels, alternator belt, AC Refresh and got complete car shampooing. 8. The average fuel economy i get in city ( Horrible Hyderabad traffic ) is 17.5 to 18 in City ( AC always ON ) and 21 KMPL in Highway. 9. I have driven the car for 1200 Kms in 36 hrs as i travel on business on multiple occasions ( Business) and i have never felt tired or exhausted even with self driving. I feel its better than my XUV500 in that respect and our first choice for long drives. 10. Figo loves Highways and outshines every other hatchback currently on sale. 11. I once had a serious accident on Highway where I hit a buffalo and then divider, as i was not able to see then in darkness after sharp turn. It was pretty horrific one, however to my surprise,the only damage i had was dent in right fender and bumper. Literally we cant imagine surving in any other car and less damage in other car. We stopped for 30 mins to come out of shock and drove the rest of the journey as if nothing has happened. 12 . I'm planning to buy a another small car, preferably automatic to handle my daily office commute and dont find a reason why i should switch from Figo. It has all the comforts i need and is showing no signs of aging. We have changed our plan to keep figo and rather buy 7 seater to accomodate our bigger family. 13. As most people believe, Figo engine life is more than 2.5 Lakh KMS as long as your maintain it properly. My friend who runs a Pharma company had Fiestas for managers and they all lasted more than 3 Lakh kms. The only other cars who could do that were Toyota Innovas. I'm talking average of 5000 Kms + mileage every month. The Negatives : 1. The lighting in this car is average as its as per Highway standards set by US. They are not overly bright as you would expect in India. I got the headlights replaced with Bixenon setup post warranty and that problem is fixed now. This problem in not releavent to Next Gen Figo though. 2. In city traffic on Diesel Figo, The car needs to shift to 1st gear more often then 2nd which is sometimes troublesome. 3. The rear windows do not have power windows even in top spec model. We dont know why Ford chose to skip that feature. its not a deal breaker as its never been a problem however just letting you people know . 4. There are loads of people who will talk about , Ford chalte ho, iske toh maintaince bahut zyada hoga and all. Its more of people talking than real issue. Sometimes i just have to explain things to them . The resale value suffers as most of the people come with wrong notion and expect bargain price for Quality car.

Brother, your review was one of the genuine and honest i have seen. Though the negatives you highlighted are to make a potential buyer more vigilent, people are commenting and defending ford with their experience. Everyone is correct when looked from their perspective.

I have learnt driving in this car. 1.5 yrs back. I have petrol version 2011 Figo. I am in love with the handling of this car. Steering is a bit stiff and that gives confidence when you cruise on highway. I have driven swift and it doesnt give me confident because of light steering. Also mileage is a huge concern in this car. I will only stick to Ford. Planning to buy Ford freestyle.

I own Figo Dsl 2011 model . I ve virtually learnt driving on it. Fully satisfied. The reviewer is talking of fine handling. I agree. Steering control is so precise that u r confident by feeling the wheels obey ur command to turn even by an inch left or right. However the reviewer has forgotten to opine about low ground clearance due to which the undercarriage tends to kiss the speed breaker every now and then. I ve mostly plied it on longdrives, sometimes offroading too, and it never failed me. Mileage Is 14 15 in city and 18 on highway. I m not an accomplished driver. Yet I luv it. It s done 39000 kms

My Ford Figo 2011 model run about 1,97,000 KM still the Engine pick-up is awesome. My Figo is still running on original clutch system and rear brake shoes. I want to run my Figo not less than 300K kms. or till the time it's original clutch system works. I wash my Figo my self, because I love my FIGO.

Amazing review...this is my first ever comment on youtube...proud figo owner...my figo has run 1.25 lacs till date...my figos engine is still seemless...ride quality is still amazing...u missed speakers and sound which make ride more pleasurable...economy is great...a/c is by far d fabulous for a hatchback...though lacks some power in gear2 with a/c on but then catches up well...stoutly built...way better than maruti or hyundai in terms of sterdiness...i have a i 10 as well but figo is unmatcahable...thanks for d review...

Paaji sabh kuch sahi hai but regarding engine ur thoughts are not correct..Figo has Ford Fiesta engine which has very good life..even I have seen cars completing 4Lacs km..TDCI engine has more life than DDIS

I still own this car recently upgraded the music system and put a screen to match with the newer vehicles and just today changed and put new tires. As of now my car has run 35,000 km. Yes, agree with you on this #SpareWheel, I too faced engine head gasket issues with 1.4 TDCI engine. Engine is very torquey and people rev the nuts of it due to the torquey feel and as a result I have seen head gaskets expanding and leak engine oil from engine head and that ends the life of the engine. And if fuel filter is not changed within the stipulated time then there is air locks.

My Figo, 2013, 90K KMs, highway between 80 to 100 kmph gives 25kmpl and city around 14kmpl, very nice car and big in this segment, I love it, I'll upload mileage test once I got out city, hoping very soon :)
