The Mk3 Focus builds on Ford’s ‘kinetic’ design concept with a low profile bonnet and wraparound lights. Only available as a Hatchback or Estate in the UK. Safety features include door side impact bars, airbags for the driver and front-seat passenger, side airbags, head airbags, whiplash protection system, and an advanced seat belt system with pre-tensioners and load limiters. Engines, dubbed ‘EcoBoost’ by Ford, include a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine, and an updated version of the previous Ti-VCT 1.6-litre engine.
