How did you adapt the throttle from the 2.0? It has a different bolt spacing?

I’ve got the 2.0 duratec, just curious does this burn heaps of engine oil for these types of cars or is it safe like the xr5 for crackle pop tune

Nah it's nothing like the 2.0 duratec! The 1.6 it's actually a Zetec/sigma engine 😁 Even after 250 000km on the engine it burns maximum 1 litre on every oil change

Thanks! If you feather the throttle it actually uses less fuel! We did the remap after we swapped the throttle body with a bigger one and the exhaust manifold so it has a significant difference but don't expect it to be too fast 😅 Still way nicer car to drive 🤗

Owned same engine in mk1. With frp intake&throttle body it was beast. Made like 115 on stock ecu. With remap/standalone i think 130 would be easly done.

It's 1.6 zetec/sigma labeled as Duratec with 100hp! 115hp is the TI-VCT engine which is also a zetec/sigma engine but with variable valve timing. Now its somewhere around 125hp ish. It's not a rocket but it's better than stock.
