Ford Focus Pollen Filter Replacement, “Cabin Filter" How to Guide.

In this video I show how to replace the Pollen Filter on a mk 3 2011 Ford Focus
Its a nice and easy repair, which can be carried out at home.
The replacement filters are available at most car parts suppliers costing around £12.

A dirty filter can cause poor blower circulation, and a smelly air con system.

Thanks for your great video. I actually managed to change the filter. It was so tricky. Fortunately my body is flexible and I used a pillow to lean on the door sill to make it more comfortable and a torch to see what I was doing. This is what KZfaq is really about, Oh and pop videos!

Nice vid. The black cable that runs down the back of yours runs in front of mine (not sure why as only just bought the car) but really gets in the way when trying to remove and refit the pollen filter cover.

Excellent video. Would love to see the replacement of the AC/heater actuator control from the drivers side. It's a common fault on new Ford's... So far only found American KZfaq videos on in.. reckon you could get some serious views if you made that. Search ford fiesta clicking noise on start up. :)

if it was realky dirty/old could this ever cause the AC to not work ?

Now ive seen this it Might be time to change mine as the smell of autumn is wafting through the vents.compared to this the mk 3 mondeo i had was a dilly for the pollen filter if u had allen keys.under the windscreen just popped out the old one and popped the new one in

I’ve just changed the Pollen Filter on my Ford Focus 1.0 Unleaded Petrol 65 Plate Car & it’s a Flipping Hard Job to Replace it. I found it Hard to Put the Pollen Filter Clip back on but it’s too Hard for Me to Do so I will just leave it undone until I m ready to Change the Pollen Filter Again.

It's my mom's car. I am glad I have Honda. They put in an easy to access filter in the glove compartment. Any car with an a/c should have a cabin filter

@@toddsmith1617 no kidding, I have a toyota and it's in the glove box with two tabs, couldn't be easier. Not sure why Ford needs to make it so difficult. Thanks for the reply.

It's not fair...🤣🤣🤣 i have to take the gas pedal off too....the downside of having the steering wheel on the left side of the car.....😋😋😋😋 volvo c30 1.6 d2 2011..whenn i meet the person who actually designed this cabin filter location...it's not gonna be pretty....sledge hammer on his fingers....

TheUS model mark 3's give you way less room and this operation is at best HORRID! Nice little car but this is my first and LAST Ford if they can't engineer things better than this.
