Nothing to fix. It's how it's designed. I've gotten used to have a black eye... I mean.... I've been used to avoiding the corners.

That's just the design of it. Nothing really broken. If it were to open further, the front part of the spoiler would make contact with the shell. I've gotten used to it after a few black eyes.

Question about the "eye poke", if the supports are removed would the back window open up higher and prevent the eye poke. I am going to be ordering one and thinking if I add longer supports and relocate the brackets would the back window open farther. And thanks for the review it is entertaining and informational!

You could possibly get it to go up a little bit higher. You can't go too much further because the spoiler will then start to make contact with the roof of the camper. Keep in mind that it's going to be different for everybody depending on their height. If you're shorter or taller than 5 ft 9 in, then it might not even be an issue.

Looks good and the Leer will outlast the truck. I have one on a 20 plus year old Tacoma and still looks good. Didn't realize how much those caps went up in price. 4x what I paid while the truck price only went up 2x.

This is their top-of-the-line shell for this truck. There are lesser expensive options available with traditional side windows and don't have many of the features of this particular shell. I had the identical shell on my 2018 f150 and that was closer to $7k!l with only a couple of options!!! I guess in that sense, you're right because this is somewhere in the middle of the price range when it comes to shells nowadays, but there are still many that can be had for less ☺️

It does come painted to match to your Maverick, in the car starts right around $4500

So if you don't like being able to access your bed from the side and see out the back or carry any oversized items in your bed, then you too can spend a few grand on a tiny little bed shell. This one looks good, but you won't be able to see it anyway after it pokes your eyes out. Subbed, because I want to see if OP still can after a few weeks.

You can see out the back now that the leader decal has been removed off the back. However as you mentioned, we'll see if I still have eyes in a few weeks lol. You can fit quite a bit back there, and I'll say that it's more than I would put back there then if I didn't have a shell on since I know it's all secured. Now let's just be fair here, if we were looking to haul big things in the bed of our truck, we would have never chosen the Ford Maverick LOL

I had a leaking issue, but that was an installation issue. I brought it back to the vendor I bought it from, and it's now water-tight :-). I'll do another update soon as well as a couple of other new videos. Overall, I still love it!

The spoiler is part of the assembly, and any further, it would start to hit the top of the shell. Unfortunately.

Does that topper also come with the sliding side windows? I had a LEER topper with your style windows. Those side windows sucked (even though they look better). On my new LEER truck topper I ordered the sliding windows with the pet screens. They open up nicely.

This particular topper only comes with the the crank windows. There are other toppers with sliding windows, but as you stated, they don't look as good.
