Cheers for this but my Mondeo is a push-start and the button is on the right of the radio in one of the diamond shaped panels you popped out at the start. Will this cause my any problems? I presume the wires to the button will stay in place while I do this?

Alright, so i dont know if anyone knows of this issue. My ford mondeo stationcar from 2009 is having issues with the speedometer going out and I can often times press at random places on the speedometer, to get it to light up again. When it goes out, the gauges stop working and the sound to the indicator also stop working. And also the radio has a thing with it going out, stop working. If i want it to work again, i just Press the on/off button but it comes and goes when ever it feels like it. Some days the radio turns off 1 or 0 times, other days it can turn off several times during a drive. Does anyone have experience with this periodic issue.

Hi so you can just change the satnav stereo into a std stereo mondeo dash or do you have to get an GPS ariel for satnav to work on new stereo
