Thanks for the video, I can confirm, that the BT module used in the video is fully compatible with the pre-facelift Sony radio without any software updates.

If you strugle with this swap order bluetooth module from ebay / temu / wish and connect to power sourse behind and to the aux cables , thats one of the easiest seaps ever no change any radio or nothing cost only 15 $ , i have it on my galaxy 2006 mod. Works ever since have it around 4 years now , works only when you switch to aux mode

@@Placekmich yes thats why i write that if u strugle only ,original audio is much better. But my mondeo 2011 mod have had bluetooth and i could play audio throught it without any mod

Wow, great video, thank you so much! I've got Mondeo MK4 2008, originally Ford 6000 CD. Bought Sony DAB from 2012 and unfortunetly 8M5T-19G488 module - works only phone call. Does Your BT module suport usb music from pendrive too?

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately according this site: mk4-wiki.denkdose.de/artikel/sound_connect/varianten your BT module cannot play music from USB. Usb is used only for firmware upgrade. I would recommend to search on scrapyard for module 8M5T-19C112*, AU7T-19C112-* or CS7T-14D212-*. My BT module can play music also from USB.

Witam kolego w moim mondeo MK4 był stary moduł 7S7T-19G488-BE przez który dzwoniłem. Dzisiaj wymieniłem go na 8M5T-19C112-ER i zaktualizowałem przez USB Sony CD, teraz rozpoznaje moje przesyłanie strumieniowe przez BT i czyta utwory przez USB, ale nie ma dźwięku. A kiedy dzwonię, nie ma dźwięku, co to może być? Czy trzeba to regulować przez diagnostykę, czy potrzebne jest jakieś okablowanie?

Zdravím, v mém případě vše fungovalo jen na zapojení a nic víc jsem nemusel řešit (mám Mondeo 12/2009). Je možné, že pokud máš auto, bude potřeba přepinovat zástrčku (to jsem ale nikdy nedělal, a nemám s tím zkušenosti). Zkus e podívat tady: mk4-wiki.denkdose.de/artikel/sound_connect/pinout_srm

Hi, thanks for the video. I just did the same swap, stereo from a 2013 Zetec into a 2013 LX, but I don't get BT autio.😢 When I press the CD/Aux button it just toggles between CD and Aux inputs. I didn't get the updating message either. Any ideas?

Hi, did you change bloutooth module as well? Radio unit itself cannot receive bluetooth stream. BT module is the receiver - not radio unit.

hello, I have a mondeo mk4 from 2008 and I have the same sony radio, the only difference is the knob. I would like to have audio bt if it is enough to change the module to the one indicated in the video and whether the new functions will be on the radio. At the moment under the cd / aux button I only have these two options

Hi, it depends what kind of radio you have. Sony from pre-facelift may or may not be compatible with bt streaming. I would recommend to purchase newer sony radio from face-lift car.

I think I will have to buy a polift radio, does every sony polift radio have bt audio? is it possible to check if the radio has bt audio without having to run it I found a Sony radio from 2010 with an additional output for amplifier, dab, mp3

Hi. I have a question after replacing the module I can connect to the radio but when I receive calls I can't hear the interlocutor and my vc does not work on the previous module everything was ok. I am currently waiting for a Sony radio from 2011, will everything be back to normal after replacing the radio? in the comments I read that you changed the configuration of the car, is it necessary? at the moment i am ready to update the module only via usb. Thank you in advance for your answer, if I manage to achieve my goal, I will share my insights in the comments edit: it turns out that not all facelift radios have the bt\usb audio option. I failed to update the module due to the lack of usb selection over the radio. if someone dreams of bt audio in modeno mk4, I recommend buying a radio with a module from an accident car, making sure that it meets our expectations beforehand. I would like to thank the author of the recording for any help, but I prefer to stick with the irreplaceable aux :)

Ahoj mohu poprosit o radu? Přestal mi fungovat BT modul u Mondea MK4 2012. Pokud vyměním za nový, bude třeba nový modul nějak nastavovat, nebo ho si ho rádio načte automaticky? Děkuji za odpověď.

Ahoj, pokud budeš měnit za stejný typ (stejné funkce), tak nic nastavovat nemusíš. Pokud budeš dávat jiný, například starý nepodporoval bt stream a nový ano, tak budeš muset přes diag změnit nastavení v autě.

Zdravím, musí se hlídat i číslo rádia? Nebo je to jedno, hlavně že je to origo sony? Ptám se protože tohle rádio v autě mám, jen nevím číslo jednotky. Bt mám jen na volání, písničky nepustím.

Zdravím, některé rádia Sony do faceliftu (2011) neměli podporu přehrávání přes BT. Po faceliftu už to mají všechny rádia Sony. Takže pokud si můžete vybrat, bral bych rok 2011 a výš. Více o rádiích naleznete tady: mk4-wiki.denkdose.de/artikel/radio_sony/varianten . Pro zprovoznění BT streamu je nutné mít i BT modul, který BT stream podporuje. Jsou to verze 8M5T-19C112-*, AU7T-19C112-*, CS7T-14D212-*.

Hy. I bought a CS7T and fitted. I had Sony and non music bluetooth. I tried to connect but it is asking for code shown on display but not showing any code. I tried 0000 for code but not pairing. Any idea ?

Hi, what kind of radio unit you have? I have the same issue on s-max with old Denso unit - this is not compatible with bluetooth stream. Radio unit will display you random code which you will use for phone pairing.

@@Placekmich Hy. I have a Sony head unit in 2010 Ford Focus. I had bluetooth but not a2dp. I bought CS7T14D212AD from a Cmax2. Plugged in seems everything fine but when i tried pairing wont show code , only women voice telling me enter the code shown on the display.

Zdravím, měnil jsem bluetooth modul 8M5T-19G488-BM (jen voice control + handsfree) za CS7T-14D212-AB (voice control + handsfree + USB + Bluetooth stream). Rádio jsem dával Sony SOCD1X z roku 2012 (starší než 2009 mohly mít problém s BT streamem).

@@bezszelestnibo masz zły moduł , moduł 488 nie sluzy do streamingu muzyki , potrzebujesz moduł z końcówka 112 lub 212 z USB , jeżeli chcesz sterować głosem to jeszcze potrzebujesz mikrofon …

Did you changed car configuration via diag? I changed it from handsfree+voice control to handsfree+voice control+audio stream via extended licence of forscan.

@@dturbo306 it depends what radio unit you already have. Generally sony radio unit face-lift version already supports music stream. Older units could but not all of them. @@Placekmich well it’s actually focus mk2 but the mp3 Sony non dab like you fitted but fitted from standard with voice control and telephone. The research I’ve done since I commented suggests you need the specific focus module and that it’s the full spec usb one and you need a usb cable too

Bonjour ! J’ai actuellement une Ford mondeo 2008 avec un auto radio comme le votre à la différence que le mien est de 2008, j’ai acheté le même module que le votre (5 eme génération : CS7T - 14D212-AB). Cependant cela ne semble pas fonctionner… est il possible de faire une mise à jour du logiciel ou est-il préférable d’installer un module 3 eme génération 8M5T-19C112 sachant que le seul problème que je rencontre est l’impossibilité de lire de la musique en bluetooth depuis le téléphone alors que je peux passer des appels. Un énorme merci pour ta vidéo et pour ta future réponse :)

It depends which radio unit you have. Sony radio from face-lift car should always support bluetooth stream. Higher radio unit (NX, MCA) should also support - but this I don't have verified.

@@Placekmich i have the 6000cd wich was also in your car. It has the answer call buttons but the software on it doesent seem to have any bluetooth setting. Do you think these settings will unlock once you install another module or do you have to update the stereo?

@@antonesbjornsson I don't think that it will work with cd6000, but this I did not test. I think that this function has only sony and higher models of radio unit.

what? I could not make it out if this will actually stream bluetooth, I just was in a 2012 car that has this radio unit and it does not work, only connect via bluetooth for calls but not audio stream

Hi, I cannot tell you, there could be several reasons. Radio unit could be dead, cables could be broken etc. Try to find local electrician who is able to find what is wrong.

Do rádia ani do modulu jsem update nenahrával, jen zapojil a fungovalo to. Pouze jsem měnil přes rozšířenou licenci Forscan konfiguraci vozu z voice control na voice control + usb + bt stream.
