Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!
The latest high power Led bulbs will upgrade both the exterior and interior lighting system of your car. Led lighting is becoming more and more popular in the automotive market for obvious reasons. They have longer lifetime, use less energy and improve safety with their fast response time.

@@sooperdilly007 Projectors have cut off shield, which does not blind oncoming drivers. Reflectors on the other hand, they do blind oncoming drivers. Xenon and LED should never be used in reflector.

Sorry, you are correct, not very clear in the video. In the kit D1S to AMP adapters are included, and the cable with the spade connectors and oval connector isn't used. The D1S adapter is connected to the ballast and bulb.

Hi. my headlights have xenon projectors only on low beam,and normal bulbs on high beam. those this kit works for me too,or its only for headlights with bi-xenon?

We are not really aware of a single xenon version. So are you sure? Maybe you have the halogen projector version with a xenon bulb (this has also the function that they move left/right when you steer)? Usually, with original bi-xenon, you will also have a halogen high beam. Maybe you see the halogen coming on and not noticing the high beam from the projector because it has gotten very weak? In general, 2 methods are used, with both methods, be careful and patient. Method 1 is using a regular oven. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. When ready, switch off the oven and place the headlight inside. Make sure that the headlight is not touching any metal of the oven by placing a cloth over the grid, for example. Leave the headlight in the oven for 10-15 minutes before opening it. If the headlight kit is not yet soft enough, put the headlight in the oven for a bit more time. Method 2 is suitable for larger headlights that do not fit in a regular oven, or if your lovely wife absolutely does not allow car parts to be baked in her kitchen. A large cardboard box is used where hot air is blown through a heatgun. Make sure that the hot air of the heatgun does not blow directly to the headlight, place the headlight on small elevations so that the air can circulate properly through the box. We use a setting of 300 Degrees Celsius for 12-18 minutes / 1st lowest setting, depending on the size of the headlight.

The leveling is done by a different motor which moves the complete inner part, this is nog done on the projector itself and will keep working :-)

@@merivale1977 You could try a xenon bulb in the halogen projector, usually because there is a cut-off shield light output is improved a bit and you don't blind other traffic like with xenon in reflector headlights.

lol il remplace ces projecteur bi xénon oem par des projecteur aftermark on voit clairement que a 5.02 ses phares oem était rincé suffisait simplement de les restauré j'ai tester les mini h1 7.0 il éclaire moin que des phare xénon oem aucun doute

Pas dans le cas de ces phares, car ces projecteurs sont brûlés et ne sont plus réfléchissants. Le rendement lumineux est très faible. Avez-vous testé les projecteurs spécifiques de ce phare? Ce ne sont pas non plus des projecteurs 7.0 que nous avons actuellement, bien mieux maintenant.

@@Retrofitlab Oui c'est ce que je dit il aurait du nettoyer la lentille refaire, le chrome des réflecteur si sa ce fait bien et tien bien, ou alors il aurait du mettre un projecteur de type oem, les mini H1 7.0 sont pas minable certe mais comparé a des projecteur oem il a pas photos les bi xénon oem sont quand même meilleurs ainsi que les ampoules, pour dire même mes projecteur bi xénon AFS valéo D1S avec un léger voile sur la lentille éclaire mieux que des mini H1 7.0

Because the inside of the projector is 'burned' the chrome layer is gone and the light output is very bad. With the new projector, the light output is repaired. Easy job on this headlight, light output is great and much cheaper than new headlights :-)
