Ford Mondeo TDCI 2.0 Injector Removal

I had an issue with the glow plug light coming on under normal driving and the ECU went into limp mode regularly. The injectors were replaced later with remanufacured ones that required them to be coded to the ECU. I used Fordiag from a guy in Poland that was extremely easy to use. I have since covered over 20,000 miles with no issues whatsoever.
I'm not a professional car mechanic so please read your workshop manual for advice and proper sequence for dismantling or use a proffesional. I assume not responsibility for any issues that are derived from work you carry out on your own or anyones vehicles.

Thanx for this. Doing this tomorrow. Do I need a special socket, or is it just a long socket to remove the injector?

is the pressure inside the ramp 0 at stopped engine, or the system must be bleed out someway? many many thanks

Hi, and thanks for posting your video. Could I ask where you got your replacement injector(s) from, did you use a diesel specialist or just try your luck on eBay? Many thanks

I did buy them from a specialist but they cost about £700... I cant remember who I used but they were a Delphi qualified specialist. Now more than two years later, they are still going strong.

euro car parts Delphi one is about £250 ,, For extra £25 you get a life time warranty

Sometimes, I heard that injector needs to be reprogrammed after you removed it. how it works?

it only needs coding in if you change it for another.

I used this. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400378902860 It's deeper than a normal socket and has a window for when you need to put them back in and line up. There's an alignment tool that is recommended. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250879555726
