These cars are not fully appreciated. Thanks, Henry, for helping bring it to light. A visceral experience all around, but If it's configured without stripes and in, say, Antimatter Blue, it presents a surprisingly more sophisticated look. It's a hard car not to love. If one isn't moved by the sound alone, one must be dead.

@@streetboyz1096 The GT350r is only available to Americans. A ford Mach 1 in Europe costs about $70000 and if a 350 was available it would probably cost $95000 USD in many cheaper European countries. A place like Norway a GT350 could cost $300k.

Now we have watched Tim “Schmee” drive his 7000 miles around the USA but tonight i learn so much more from Henry....I have been reading motoring journalists for 60 years and there are some very revered writers in that list but Henry is well up with them.....Laurence Pomeroy, LJK Setright, Denis Jenkinson, W “Bill” Body ...they would nod in great approval. If those names mean nothing then search them out...writers that shaped my motoring thoughts for decades and Henry is deservedly with them for superb and special work. It takes deep talent to be this good. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Schmee is very good at what he does but tends to concentrate on the USA and lately I think, too much. He has a fixation with buying cars and that is not enthusiasm. It is far more interesting to talk to a man who has done 150,000 miles in a 30 year old car that he bought new than someone who has one of each colour “Supercar” when they become toys and ever more pointless, Tim “Schmee” has too many similar cars..no variety and I think has lost his way..then ever more reports on one off cars built by lunatics that have no relevance to any of his readers is a big mistake. You have to take your followers/readers with you in a way they can understand and even equal or aspire to...but five sorts of McLaren does not do that. I watch many You Tubers and all are different but each is special in their own way. What Henry does is describe every detail of DRIVING the car in a manner that a man with a 65,000 mile third hand Fiesta diesel can appreciate...he may never own a Mustang but can glimpse what it would be like if he did. Tim just drove from one museum to another with a few adventures in between...but Henry..drove the car and took us with him. That is why he is so good.🙂🙂
@CaseyCollier
@CaseyCollier 3 жыл бұрын
@@HQBProductions Tim Burton's "concentration" on the U.S. probably stems from the majority of his audience living in the United States (he has said this publicly). I believe he said that about 32% of his audience is American, so it would make sense that he feature things that many Americans would like in his videos. He has done two U.S. road trips, so clearly he has priorities besides just showing off cars. He is fully invested in his KZfaq career, so all of this makes logical sense in relation to his business. He entertains and shows off cars. That is his job and he has clearly been doing well, considering the size of his car collection. As far as one-off, special cars go, I would say Tim does a lot of videos on those. There is no doubt... but there are also a lot of videos he has done on seemingly regular cars (cars that could be bought by people who aren't extremely wealthy). I think you're focusing on the crazy and absurd cars and are forgetting about the other 65-70% of his content. Even Tim's extreme, one-off car videos do well in terms of ratings, so I think people do care about at least understanding these vehicles and seeing what they look like (even if they'll never be able to afford them themselves). There is also a big difference between a fully fledged review and a bunch of road trip videos. I think you're missing the whole point of Tim's content in the United States. He had already done an in-depth video on the GT500 back when Ford did their press event two years ago (during his first U.S. road trip). There, he went over the car's features and described the vehicle's performance as he drove it. That being said, he isn't really a "car reviewer" or "automotive journalist." He goes over vehicle features and then shares his thoughts and experiences with his audience as best as he can. If you watch his videos, expecting them to be like this one from Carfection, you'll probably be a little disappointed. That isn't the point of Tim's videos though and his audience understands that.
@HQBProductions
@HQBProductions 3 жыл бұрын
@@CaseyCollier Some interesting thoughts there Casey. You have indeed summed Tim up well..remember I am one of his fans for around five years now because his talent is still being able to be humble about his success and that sometimes things have not gone well which he has shared. As for his financial abilities, he did make a video some time ago and his original funding was after his success working in the City of London. These days his 2M+ subscribers must make a big difference but then his monthly commitments can only be huge compared to most people working for a living. As for content...yes he is clearly concentrating on the USA and I guess it impresses that audience but I would say that for some time, his “normal car” review percentage is much lower than it used to be. Personally I have no interest in a “1500bhp “Corvette mostly based on fantasy and just about unusable...now I have just made up the car there but you will have seen many such creations. Also....when he was still reviewing normal, realistically priced cars, I did get the impression that he really had no liking nor interest in them...he read out a list of facts..drove it a bit..tolerated it and told us that it was alright..but his heart was not in it. Now he seems fixated on stupidly high noise levels....that is at odds with his personality...my guess he is using that to reach young men...a primeval urge and there is money in it. I like Tim...but you are correct...he is nowhere as a journalist when compared to Carfection and to many others...check Harry Metcalfe for a totally different but highly impressive style. I say to enjoy the many videos out there..impossible to do more than skim the surface but compared to the misery that Top Gear became and remains, Tim and dozens of others are on a different snd much higher Planet! Safe driving!!😃😃😃😃

But it has lot of aero drag so it's top speed is limited to 180mph. It's the first mustang ever to be a 10 second car doing 10.6s and 10.5s. The DCT really helps it shine 🤪

It has GPS fencing option to control exhaust settings, can turn down the volume near your home and workplace. If you aren't hard on the loud pedal, it's tolerable. If henry Ford were alive today, he would be smiling from ear to ear. Love the roar. Would not be a mustang without it. You know it is a mustang coming when you hear the roar. No other car sounds like a mustang.

He might like the Mustang car but would be horrified at Ford and their horrible mismanagement and their desire for woke politics.

Not available in the UK, because the UK thinks this car needs to carry its own refinery in the trunk. I'm no muscle car fan, but have to admit these new banged out mustangs are pretty attractive and sound sick!

It does 10.5s and 10.6s in the quarter mile with trap speeds of 133-134mph and even 135mph with good conditions and elevations.

That Predator motor is truly a gem, have a look at how it's built, you'll be amazed. Sounds like a muscle car on steroids should. Very good video, thanks
