@@rubenvarela4077 I just got a code twelve. I broke the wiring on the plastic transponder that goes around the ignition and down to the little black box that talks to the pats. Key( tranceiver ) send the signal to the transponder which tells the pats it's the right key. I ordered a used matching part on eBay and am going to junk yard Friday to look for the part. I'll send back the new used one from eBay if it works.

Junk-Stuff ENTREPRENEUR of you replaced your transponder, all you need to do is put in your original key, turn it to run, off, run, off, run, off. Just a he describes. This process will reset your key to work with the new transponder. I tried it on my Ford Explorer and saved me big time.

Not really, I mean, I prefer Ford, but the dealership is ¥®π©€¥ up .... .. btw, I drive a 1990 ranger daily- that WILL NOT die. even after I did head gasket and found a crack on block And slapped it back together. I couldn't afford sending the heads into a machine shop. this ranger has 60k on a flawed engine. but the key(Pat's) ISSUE is on my OTHER ranger 1999. thanks for trying to help me. and have a good weekend. later. @@samcintron01 hey ive got a 1997 f150 got a buddy to replace my shift tube but long story short ive got a flashing theft light no crank, tried unhooking battery draining capacitors letting it sit then cranking, it didn't work, can i reprogram my key by doing the on and off thing three times??? Mine dosen't have the halo ring or whatever, it only has the two wires going to the ignition cylinder sensor?? Please gimme some good news??@!!!

What if the locksmith deleted the key codes to the original key can you still use the original key as you explained in your video?

Baze Charles so just put it in , then pull it out, or turn to on then off and pull out 3 times.

To program a key to an expedition im not sure if it works with other vehicles, the timing might differ but all you have to do is turn the igntion to the run position with the key then leave for 15 minutes after that the theft light will stop flashing then just turn the ignition off and repeat to a total of 3 times

Can't read all your reply, Ford ranger key stolen AAA sent out locksmith to make a key he said 15 min. tops it would take, that Ford's were his specialty 1 hour later he told me, in 15 years never seen this problem, (blinking anti-theft), no start. Cost-$250. You told me to call the Ford dealership which told me they don't deal with the Pats system then my research found that might need to replace the whole Transformer and ignition switch, but less than a week later I found my spare key in my garage call the original locksmith very excited, but he let me know that wouldn't help me because he had erased the original OEM Ford codes to my key without asking me! Now my 2001 Ford Ranger is sitting in the yard of the third mechanic it's been towed to with each one saying they have the Pats system inside their shop and could fix it the third one convinced me to tow it to his shop even though I was skeptical, now he wants $300 for his time with no fish or $1600 to replace with new transponder, so again I have to have it towed home with no fix. Not sure if they feel I'm a dumb girl staring blankly at them but would love to read all of your reply feel free to email me too
