AMAZING! 2006 F-350. Right-side shotgun passenger window was stuck in the down position. Was just getting ready to pull everything apart but thought I'd check KZfaq first. I'm old school and usually forget about these videos. Played with the master switch and then pretty much all the other switches with no luck. Tried poking/jabbing at it as you show in your video and boom, works like a charm. Must have been some dust or dirt or something in the switch. Saved me likely hours of screwing around THANK YOU!

I take those switches apart and clean up the contacts, Alot of times a little cleanup with a file on the contact points is all they need.

So window power switch not working, changed silver relay in fuse box, no luck,switch out master switch,nothing. Thanks. What do you do if when checking current the down wire on the drivers side window shows no current. Is it the switch. I actually changed it out and it worked for a few days. Then back to not going down. Shows current when testing for up.

replaced the drivers side switch panel, but the passenger side still does not work, all others work. the regulator on that door has been replaced and it does work at the door, but not from the drivers side?? does the signal bipass the passenger side switch? ie could it be a wire or plug from the drivers side that does not involve the passenger side switch since that side switch works???

Ive replaces my 2000 mustang switches but still intermittently just dont get power to the passenger window, never slow just works fine or get no power either up or down.. Any advice?

I changed out the switch and the new one worked. This is back up car so I did not use it for two months. When I did drive it, I lowered the window nit it would not come back up. I got a replacement switch but I sill cannot get the window to move. There is no cable wrenching sound like I have had on other vehicles so I believe the cables are ok. If the motor is bad, why would it work once, but now later? Do you think it is the motor?

I've been dry camping in the desert and lots of dust and sand out here. So I have a question, can I get one of those airstream pressure cans? To clean it out?

What if it's both Windows on one side happend in tge same day first the back window wouldn't go up but after awhile it did then hours later my front window got stuck down and it was working fine all day up till that point

Hey man great video. I have a 2006 Ford E350 5.4l 3v. When I turn the key to the on position, the windows don't go down until about 20 seconds. Also, when the key is on the on position, the headlights always stay on (even though the headlights are turned off). Another symptom of this problem is that the fuel gauge and temperature guage on cluster also don't work for the first 20 seconds (works only after about 20 seconds of turning the key on the on position). This problem is consistent and happens everytime. Any useful tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.

maybe related to my issue? 2014 f250 superduty, passenger window sometimes works, others not. I also have an issue with the doors not auto-locking. I'll be driving and then I'll hear a clunk and the pass door locked. Way after I started moving. Bumped the rubber flex tube between door and body and the window worked for a while. Switches? or wiring at hinge? It is a plow truck but only 80k on it.

i had a difficult diagnosis of a power window on a 2002 cougar itd work intermittantly did the troubleshooting tree test the RESISTANCE of the power switch. it tested good. next checked the wiring between the door and body found nothing. long story short switch was bad even though it "tested" good with the resistance. now i ALWAYS check for power going in and out of the switches now. much more effective

Had to get violent with it but it worked, it's gonna be a safe winter for me thank you so much

I have a 2013 Expedition. The driver window does not work. I have replaced the motor and switch and still only the driver window does not work. Not sure what to try next. The motor does not work when unmounted but plugged in Tried 2 different motors and still does not work. All other windows work fine.

The jabbing method isn't working because I'm hitting either the wrong button or using the wrong finger. Could you specify which one to push?

I have a 2005 ford F-150 fx4 the fog lights wouldn't work at all so I replaced the fuse an relay finely got my fog lights to work but now the radio and windows don't work at all I was going to check the passenger side window coz it didn't work from either passenger side or driver's side but now none of the windows work

Hit button while pulling up on the window with other hand usually gets a stuck one moving past the binding spot. Mine binds half way down. Don't think it is the switch and maybe the regulator sliding contacts are bad. Have a spare motor but it does the same thing. Only other thing I can think of is possible it is binding where the window slides in the felt track.

I loaded some wood in my 2008 town car and had it sticking out the rear passenger window. The last time, I put too much weight on it and the window is jammed in the down position. It will not go up and moves about 1/4 inch down after you hold the up position on the switch.

I had a 95 Crown Vic like that. I just accepted the fact that the window might work some days and might work other days, car only cost me $200 so I wasn't throwing a new switch at it. Punching the door panels when the motors got to a dead spot was a good one too.

My friends 04 F150 has a problem where the front passenger and both rear passenger windows won't operate. Can anyone think of a single point of failure that would cause this to happen?

I ended up having to buy a new power window switch but it was my passenger side only. The driver side switch still can operate the window just fine.

I have the window issue on a f250 but my viper alarm will randomly roll the windows down and back up, driver gets stuck open about a half foot . This is hit or miss, till the dam alarm rolls them💀
