hey man thanks for the comment. sadly a gave my ranger away but it did'nt go far. i gave it to my dad because he needed a newer vehicle and he loves it and i loved it to.always try to find a 4x4 ranger thay will go anywhere lol try to find one thats 2006 and up. also get a 4.0 L you my have to pay more but it worth it. more power but fuel economy is not good, but change the spark plugs and it will fix the problem. thats my opinion

Best truck I ever had! Had mine scene new! 2002 Ford Ranger with now 261,000 miles! Engine still strong. Check the oil at 3,000 miles still full to the top! I love that truck.

I bought a new ranger back in 97, That little thing is a billy goat. She has 70,000 miles on her now, looks and drives new. I love that little truck, in low range, it will go just about anywhere, pull just about anything. Course she's a 4.0l 5 speed 4x4 with a small 2 inch lift and 32 1150s. One of the best trucks I have even owned. She gets left home alot now, but anytime I wanna just load up a dirt bike or quad, I take the ranger. Small enough, but goes anywhere I want her to take me.

My 3.0 v6 Ford F'in Ranger managed to haul a dodge stealth 50 miles in reasonably hilly terrain, she didn't fuss much other than a springy feeling now and then and sat at 2000 rpm on the highway, which is pretty much as if it were going 20mph faster. The stealth is a bit smaller than a mustang, weighs 3000lbs, and it was on a 700lb dolly. We had to borrow a bigger truck to rent the dolly from U-Haul because they thought it was a bad idea, I could be wrong but I thought the hitch is rated for 2000lbs. But unbeknownst to them, this is a man's truck.

You aren't wrong but you aren't fully right. everything but the first sentence is true. Technically he did pull it but it was really more of a tug than a pull, and with a tug generally being defined as a quick sudden pull, he did in fact, pull the semi.

No, both the tractor and the pickup were pulling. The pickup added enough tractive effort to get the rig unstuck.
