You may see a Montero Sport but in Australia this vehicle is a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. The world is bigger than you most of the time ;)

I have them both and here are my conclusions for your reference. Montero gt (M) for 2½ years and Raptor (R) for 1½ years of driving. I'll rate them from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest. Head to head Acceleration: M9 R8 On road ride comfort: M3 R10 Off road fast drive handling: M3 R10 Off road slow drive capability: M7 R9 Cruise control function: M10 R6 Change oil cost: M4 R7 Fuel consumption: M7 R6 Sorry to say but now I seldom use my M on long distance travel. My common fast speed range: M 90-140kph only R 110-170kph - very stable.

Hope you guys won’t forget to install a snorkel! It’s only a matter of time till you get water in that motor then boom. Just a piece of advice though cause it happened to me and so many people I know. Bought me a new engine.

Montero is based on a pickup truck sibling. It is a proper offroad vehicle. Well some dumbass on SE asian market put on this segment decided to put a 4x2 option for this lineup, even the Everest, Terra or Fortuner should'nt had been offered 4x2. Mitsubishi should have made a Innova contender like the Kuda before.

Yg dipake di Dakar itu Pajero Evolution, mesin 3500cc V6 bensin, tapi untuk model terakhir yg dipake di rally dia bentuk headlamp dan grill diubah mirip pajero sport generasi 2 tapi lebih besar. Pajero sport dakar hanya nama varian supaya image identik dengan kakaknya yaitu pajero yg dipake rally dakar.

In the UK, pickups are mainly driven by arrogant aggressive assholes. Big fish in small pond attitude, usually get V signs or a mouthful of abuse from drivers if you so much as question their bad driving. Ive driven the Ranger, its a nice vehicle. Shame about the image here. The Pajero is called the Shogun Sport in the UK and it would do me very nicely as a long term purchase.

The cars look nice, but I am not impressed In some African countries, this would be considered a good road. Imagine this road after overloaded trucks dug it for months and you'll have an idea. And they don't drive nice brand new 4X4 with terrain response feature, most of them have regular cars or minibuses

pajero sport at montero sport ay parehas. Magkaiba lang ng market name depende kung saan bansa. Yung Pajero naman sa pinas sa ibang bansa Shogun. Pajero Sport and Pajero are two different models. Medyo madami lang nalilito talaga.

Can't you even see the Pajero on US named only Montero, without the Sport the Montero Sport is another model too and available too on US market only the first gen. Montero = Pajero Pickup based just add the Sport to the name the "lesser or smaller" model. Like the Outlander too, with the smaller one it is the Outlander Sport. TG they did'nt named it Challenger again.
