I cushioned and marine carpeted the tail gate, cutting out the stupid ford original tub liner. Much better for getting yourself and gear in and out of the tub. It looked like you were drilling into the tailgate, rather than using pre existing holes? (The drill seemed to work a fair bit to get the screws in?)

Yes they supply self tappers. It didnt help that I had the incorrect size bit either :) Thanks for watching

The 21.75 PX3 doesn't have the cover plate. I've removed the tailgate liner recently a (Install central locking tailgate) and it's open. They have cut costs by removing this cover, underneath. Priced up a new one, unpainted, $98 from Ford

Oh wow. I know ford have been slowly removing items since the 19.75 models. Mine is the 20.75 and its missing the plastic underseat storage tubs. Later models even had the inverter removed.

@@GetCampingOz the 21.75 XLT, Also has the following missing from earlier models... -No in-console air conditioning. -No photo chromatic auto dimming rear vision mirror. -No rear seat under seat storage bins -No front acoustic side windows -No tailgate latch cover under tub liner -No engine cover -No middle tie down points in tub -No speed sensing auto door lock -No extendable sun visors -No drivers seat lumbar adjustment -12v sockets not back-lit -No twin USB sockets in dash console

Too expensive for a simple sheet, they should design it to fit where old one is removed so no extra holes are required

Yes pretty expensive but there really isnt anything else on the market that can be bought and just fitted. I wasnt keen on timber as I wanted something more durable. Thanks for watching

@@GetCampingOz I bought a sheet of acrillic smoked colour for 100 bucks and they cuts cut it to size while was waiting 👍
