Borlänge Fire Station 2023 Ford F550 rescue unit and a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado ambulance responding to a traffic accident/collision. Also a Volvo V90 police car can be seen responding prio 1 past the fire station.
Räddningstjänsten Dala Mitt, station Borlänge räddningsbil 2 25-1020 åker på larm/utryckning från brandstationen. Även ambulans och polis kan ses åka på larmet.

Nice looking rig. My departments Mini-Pumper/Fast Attack rig is on a F550 chasis. We love our Ford's. Hard to beat in the rural/suburban area we run. Dang, how many units do they run out of that house?? What is there 12 bay doors??

There are about 20 vehicles of different types at the station + 6 or 7 ambulances but they have their own bay doors on the back and is not part of the Fire Department.

Nice catch of a duo of American chassis units! Interesting that they went for a F550 of all the available options.

The other options have engines that are way too small compared to an F-550. Availability is another factor. You can hardly get a Sprinter right now.

@@Rummeltobi thanks for the insight. I can definitely imagine supply/availability being an issue, there is currently an Atego shortage in Taiwan, which has prompted many departments to go for chasses that they normally would not use such as Iveco, Mitsubishi or even Sitrak from China.
