It won bc it met every criteria the head to head was looking for, consistent lap times, better handling, brakes, suspension etc. Also they considered the value for the price.

GT 500 is a one trick pony just like most msutnags. Go quick in a straight line. And trail Camaro everywhere else. You'd think by now the msutnag bros would be used to this. Guess not... nice try though.

Most sane Ford simp, brother the ZL1 was consistent and felt better for the price compared to the gt500. Where are you missing this? Part of going fast is stopping and if the brakes are making a professional driver note “not as good as the competition” with a second in lap time difference. Also this series isn’t about the car in the raw stand alone-it’s a show for dude bros and boomers to see 2 affordable/similar cars compete. The fastest fords are powered by Chevy.

@@flexoffender7124 He is a troll... he's made similar comments on other Zl1 vs gt500 comparisons. The facts are as you state ZL1 is the better car except for a straight line in stock form. Additionally, as the presenter mentioned if you run more than a single lap on a road course the ZL1 increases its advantages. Net is, much the same as usual for msutnag... one trick ponies and usually in a straight line. Easy to make a car quick, but not so easy to make a good car for road course work. Ford hasn't figured this chassis stuff out after all of these years.
