No, That sounds more like a water pump problem or restriction problem.

I have the same problem it's overheating, already replaced water pump, Termostat, flushed the radiador.

You need a scanner to see what temp it kicks in the fans while it warms up, then you can turn it off it gets too high. Or use an IR thermometer to check if the temp sensors are actually working.

@@PremiumFuelOnly does it have more than one temp sensor? I’m only aware of the one in between the spark plugs. I replacing it today since it come in with the replacement engine I don’t want to risk it not knowing if it was working properly before.

@@Junior-ko6ggI dont know, but you need a way to verify the sensor works. whichever one it is. A cheap OBD scanner from walmart will show you the temp. Then compare that to the upper radiator hose with a IR thermometer. Otherwise your just guessing if the replacement sensor works.

@@PremiumFuelOnly I own a obd 2 scanner but can’t figure out how to do the temp sensor check. I remember the mechanic had his scanner on it and was able to turn the fans on and off without the car being on too long. But after I brought it home I haven’t seen the fans kicked in no more. Only momentarily when the ac is on.

@@Junior-ko6gg The ac fans may not stay on if the HVAC pressure in the condenser is too low. You can still use an IR thermometer if you cant scan it.
