Notice/Anmerkung: The spec sheet at the beginning has a typo. The Transit's engine displacement isn't 1997ccm but 2198ccm. Das Infoblatt am Anfang des Videos hat einen Tippfehler. Der Hubraum beträgt nicht 1997ccm, sondern 2198ccm.

Der im Video genannte Hubraum ist falsch. Es sind nicht 1997 ccm, sondern 2198 ccm.

Top speed is limited by software to 164 km/h because of van safety issues. Ford Ranger with the same 2.2 Duratorq can go up to 185 km/h. Next time try with 2.2 Duratorq 155hp or the new 2.0 EcoBlue 170hp, they are much faster.

Captain ZaGoR It more by a specific country's law. My 2015 with the 2.2 155ps was limited to 157km/h gps speed (164 on the speedo) and my 2016 with the 2.0 170ps is limited to 184 km/h gps speed (~190 on the speedo).

We have a 2.2 Duratorq and it's much weaker than our previous (RIP) van with the 2.4L top Duratorq spec engine. Even though it has more power on paper, the previous one had power reserve even if fully loaded... meanwhile the new one can struggle quite hard. I cannot even imagine what the 2.0 is capable of. Poor van. I mean imagine putting a tilt structure on the 2.0 van.

Got one of these at my workplace. I've driven it a few times, maxes out at 165 normally, or 175 downhill. Good van. Still prefer our 319 Sprinter. That thing can move! And it's an automatic. And it has an air ride seat. Damn van rides better than my Mercedes. Heck, it rides better than my boss's 7-series.

The only way to reach 170-175kp/h is by holding the fifth gear a bit more

Is this the same engine as Pergeot boxer 2.2 HDI?

No, this is a Ford 2.2 Common-Rail Diesel Engine. The Peugeot Boxer has a very similar 2.2 PSA engine.

ich finde es blöd, dass die bei 160 abgeregelt sind, das schafft man auch mit der 95 PS Variante mit etwas anlauf, was mir aber besonders gefällt ist die lange Übersetzung, endlich mal ein Auto, dass nicht unbezahlbar ist und bei 130 nur etwas mehr als 2.000 dreht
