As an automotive technician I can tell you if you were to upgrade the exhaust system headers and back that will improve your fuel mileage quite a bit and give you quite a bit more power plus they do make some computer chip for the five for that will help with fuel mileage and power , I say keep the truck , its a good truck

Have to admit, I had a similar Ford truck and it was one of the reasons I checked out your channel in the beginning....but I've stuck around for the amazing photos, the warm looking camps, and I enjoy your interaction with your dogs! I am glad you're keeping the truck, but I really look forward to seeing how the Kia works out!...and since I had originally stopped by because of the truck, I imagine you will add lots of new viewers for the Kia!!...but I bet they stay for the content, just like me!

I had miss your old ford truck, she fits you better

As a woman from Texas coming from a family that is fond of trucks especially the men I caught a lot of flack for buying a Kia but I just loved it. Sure it wasn't a big macho truck but I took it camping and fishing and even up in the mountains of Colorado and it drove well up any terrain I challenged it with and the gas mileage was great. Hope you have as much fun as I did!

Amazing good fortune, win - win for all. Loved your contemplation and peaceful evening. I gave up a 98 Explorer and still miss it. The engine finally went out completely at almost 300,00 miles. It served me for 20 years in all kinds of adventures and started my love affair with the west! Great memories. I envy your ability to do so much work and upkeep on your own with your truck and chainsaw. Keep the vids coming!

What a great opportunity for you Jason! I think it is great! As you are moving to two cars, I am starting my downsizing and getting rid of a car. I am having a hard time letting go, but it is a journey and I am finding I am happier with less. I will probably be selling my Santa Fe (it reminds me of the Kia!) And will be keeping the old burb, since he is the one that has 4 wheel drive, gets me into beautiful places back in the woods, and tows my trailer. Thank you again for your great videos! I am going to have to do some binge watching since I missed out watching a few while I was on the road.

I am sixty years old and I have been having trucks since I was 18. One year in my 40's I decided to go with a jeep. It was not long that I gave the wife the jeep and bought me another truck. However, that is me. You must do what makes you happy no other comments matter. Stay the course.

I enjoy watching your videos. Driving the FORD I think gives people the courage to go out with their old cars and they don't feel that they need fancy car to go overloading. Although I am interested to see the Kia build.
