Күн бұрынForeign Secretary Lord Cameron has told Sky News that he is urging Israel not to further escalate tensions in the region after an attack by Iran.
On Saturday night, Iran launched a massive aerial assault on Israel, saying it was in retaliation to an airstrike on its embassy in Syria at the start of the month.
The attack was a "double defeat" and "total failure" for Iran, Lord Cameron said, and he hoped that there would not be a retaliatory military response from Israel.

It's simple. Iran retaliated. After Israel killed 14 citizens and bombed Iranian soil. The uk and West knew the attack was coming and was informed, and they largely accepted that even isreal. This is international law. It's 1/1 now. Both sides made their point. There is no need to retaliate. Is isreal attacks again, and this will mean escalation.

He should have condemned the Embassy attack. The IRG had no prior knowledge about the October terror attack and have not been able to give any aid to Hamas since. Iran had every right to defend its self. Sending 400 drones and missiles was not a over reaction or a failure. It’s a tactic used in Ukraine to swamp the defences so a few can get through. Iran would not have expected more than a few to get through. He needs to talk of proportional response in Gaza.

Iran has a right to defend itself against lsrael. No Western country has condemned lsrael's attack on lranian Embassy. No Western country has stood firm against Israel's occupation of the Palestinian land and insisted on the 2 state solution because that is the source of the conflict. Give the Palestinians their own country and there would be peace in the Middle East. The British Jews were not happy with that As long as lsrael continues its illegal occupation of Palestinian land, there would be many more conflicts
