The Prophet Muhummed use to take Naan and divided into four pieces amongst a group sitting together. To show there was more then enough to share. Once a non Muslim asked him to give him his shirt which he was wearing. And right then and there he took off his shirt and presented it to him.

This video was really beautiful. I could tell you were very emotionally struck by that moment. I feel like we could learn a lot from their culture. I live in Canada and while it's super friendly we are very much a head down, do your own thing and isolated society. There seems to be much more togetherness there. I would feel super guilty if owner will not accept money for my food, especially if I ordered 10 items . I would have ordered every single dish because it all looks so good. I love the relaxed, unpretentious way you show the countries and people you visit. I’d never really thought about going to Peru and now I would love to go there. Pakistan too - I had never been “afraid” to go there but you guys make me want to catch a flight and go there. :-) Handling the payment as a “zekat” was a really genius approach too. Zakat is obligatory alms and we use the word 'Zakat' or 'Zakah' for it even in english. Otherwise the money you give away to help someone without any obligation is not zakat. Zakat is obligatory for Muslims who are eligible to pay.

That food looked delicious! Love seeing you eat Max that is your happy place for sure !! Question though the price seemed extremely low $$ for what you ordered. Do you think they give you a lower price because of your camera(s) I heard what u did at the end which was excellent but just over $4 for all that food is hard to believe. I would feel extremely guilty too. Just thinking of all the frivolous stuff we North Americans eat and buy makes u think doesn't it?? Hospitality/generosity/Pakistani people 💛

Hmm, I think the price quoted is real. I researched the prices before. But it is hard to know because I didn’t have a full serving of anything but instead little bits and pieces of everything.

@@LicoricesCrochetMom that 4$ price was not because of camera, that food place is inside a Government University for students, so the prices are low already for students and teachers or for anyone. And its not a fancy hotel, that place called Dhabba (highway road side Driver hotel) Themed, so Dhabba hotel are famous for real homemade taste like food with low prices, these Dhabba hotel are countryside small hotels on Main roads, Thanks.

Am still recovering from his pronunciation of "dahbah" lol Awesome with accent They are like mini food stops for truck drivers. And some produce some of the finest foods you will eat. Am in UK but when I go Gurjanwala a mile from where my family live we have one. Damn it's name eludes me. Breakfast was pink tea with tandoori parathy 😍 150 rupees £1, 3 year back The curries...jus wow. ..1kg chicken 400 rupees, tandoori chapati free of course, you just pay for curry n coke 💪👊
