I have used my Foreo Luna Play since January 1st this year. Along my jawline I have/had - before my Dermapen treatments - a lot of uneven skin and various type of acne scars. In some of the pits of those scars sebum would regularly clog up and form new spots of cystic acne, which was very problematic. This has been a problem for me for more than 30 years. AHA has been helpful but what really revolutionized the condition of my skin was using the Foreo together with Skin resurfacing cleanser from Dermalogica and afterwards applying either retinol from Dermalogica or r-Retinoate from Medik8. My jawline is completely clear! And I have completely stopped using those abrasive mechanical peels. @Dr Dray, what do you think? I think in my situation the Foreo has definitely been useful, if I compare it to years of using AHA-products from Bioline. They are very good, but the combination of the Foreo and retinol has made all the difference.

I have the foreo Luna 3 for sensitive skin. I use it once a day. I have rosacea #2, skin sensitive skin and rheumatoid arthritis I use CeraVe face wash and green tinted moisturizer. Seems to help my skin. Currently having BBL treatment. Doing a series of 3 every 3-4 weeks. Definitely has helped no more face burning.

That was fun! I did own one of these foreos but I gave up on it. Too fussy 😂 I loved what you said about plastic surgeons as well. My aunt who is a retired ER nurse always said, "If you ever have to have a breast removed, have a plastics person do it. Graceful, delicate artistry and they use the best technologies available to sew you back up. You want to heal fast and be comfortable with the result." I never forgot that. Thankfully I've not been in that situation but at 68 and having had a mother who died of breast cancer at 59, sometimes I think I'm on borrowed time.

The Glam Spice I keep trying to get my boyfriend to wear sunscreen everyday!! He is a red head and is outside a lot but he doesn’t think he needs it! I think I’m slowly getting to him, I’m just trying to find a sunscreen that he will like and doesn’t feel too heavy for him!

I agree completely with your review of the FOREO fofo. When I started using mine I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it, but didn’t think it cleaned my face any better than my fingers. But I liked the vibration. I also thought the app was kind of useless. I like that it’s gentle and I will probably continue to use it.

I have the mini for sensitive skin (lilac colour). No gimmicky apps on mine. I love using it and do so every night in the shower. It has cleared my Milea and gives me a light exfoliation and my skin feels extremely smooth. I use it with both a balm cleanser and cream cleanser. Enjoyed your review.

I LOVE my Clarisonic! I have oily skin so maybe that makes a difference but my skin is the best its every been - mind you the Retin A and The Ordinary serums help too haha.

I’m an RVT and still have the hand scar from a puncture bite in my hand into the tendon that infected tendon/bone. Workman’s comp sent me to a lovely plastic surgeon for my follow ups; we thought I might need surgery on the hand. Plastic surgeons, thank you for all you do and your specialized knowledge.

I’ve had the Foreo Luna 2 since 2016. One side has the bristles for use with water cleanser, and the other side has curved lines, which is used to help vibrate your serums better into the skin. Together with better skincare products and a skincare regimen, I honestly think it helped my skin a lot. Not by itself, but I think it was a factor in the improvement.

I have a Luna mini or whatever it’s called and I use it when my sinuses are stuffy and hurt because it massages them brilliantly 😂😂😂 it’s the best thing I’ve ever used for sinus pressure and I feel like allergists should suggest it 😬

Neva Chu I think have the Luna mini 2? Whatever the ‘medium’ size version is called is what I have. It’s rechargeable (there’s a smaller one that isn’t rechargeable) and I have no issues. I also don’t use it all the time - facial massage and really heavy makeup days from special occasions - so my charges hold FOREVER. I think I’ve charged it a total of twice in the last two years or however long I’ve had it.

I used the Clarisonic for 10 years, it reduced the size of my more pores dramatically! I’m just using a konjac sponge now because I got tired of taking the Clarisonic on trips. So in conclusion it works and certainly didn’t damage my skin but I don’t use physical scrubs.

I was super happy to get this $89 Foreo in my FFF box. I love beauty box values. I did not use the app either, definitely too gimmicky for me. I do like it much better than my Clarisonic. I can only use the Clarisonic a couple nights a week. But now not at all. I can use the Foreo every night. It is much more gentle. I use my hands in the morning when I'm just washing off my nightime skincare. But when I have on makeup, the Foreo and Clarisonic do seem to clean the pores better in the evening. The Foreo for me beats the Clarisonic because 1st it's gentle but it also is much more hygienic. Was a great value getting it in the FFF box. FYI Dermstores Beauty Fix Box has a Colorescience brush-on sunscreen in it. The whole box cost me 25 bucks. Major value! I bought 2 boxes this month. Love beauty boxes!

I bought the foreo Luna mini 2 about few months ago .its true your hands may do the same job but your face will feel much softer using the foreo Luna compared to your own hands ..I must say my face changed after using this along with getting rid of fragrance in my prodructs and using the cerave moisturiser.. my skin is in its best state .

Hi Andrea! I don’t like electric toothbrushes and such taking up space on our bathroom vanity, either. When we moved into our new home we had an electrician install an outlet in our bathroom linen closet. We bought a flexible power strip with a surge protector, and our toothbrushes, water pic, etc. are all plugged in there. Thank you for your shout-out to plastic surgeons. My late father was an excellent one who made many people very happy!

This was a very interesting review. I always wondered how much it cleans the skin or if any at all. I know you dislike the Clarisonic brush so can I ask what you would recommend using to get dry patches/flaky skin off the face?

She recommends just using a damp/warm washcloth to remove excess dry skin. I do this, about once a week or so and just gently swipe/rub on my skin.

I use my Clinique facial soap with my Foreo on my forehead & between my eyebrows that is my dry and flaky patches. Used in combination with Clinique's moisture surge 72 hr auto hydrator moisturizer my flakes are completely gone!

I have the same type of silicone cleansing brush called Solo Mio (40 dollars but as big as Foreo Luna) and I use it when I am wearing makeup, I feel that my makeup comes off better than my fingers, but most days I do use my fingers! Nice review as always :) I love that pic comparison method!

Thank you for the review Dr! I was on my way to buy the latest FOREO. And I know you didn’t bring it up but what firstly led me to your video is to see honest reviews. Secondly for me as a black Swedish woman looking to buy a Swedish brand I was so disheartened to see their socials, adverts and collaborations lacked all form of diversity. Sweden has 19% visible minorities that spend 400 billion per annum on purchases yet this company didn’t reflect this. I decided against putting my money on this brand and your review sealed the deal. 2 years late I don’t see why a company has to reflect diversity. The modern society is going bonkers. You open your company you can choose your talents to do the adverts. Since when does it matter? It’ has become a trend to reflect this to reflect that since when we as a society become snowflakes? Does your house reflect diversity with posters? Do you practise that with your decor? This is lame to blame a company for not upholding diversity. Does showing means they really believe in it? No. Since when showing and telling means what it is?

I am much kinder to my skin and no longer desire a Clarisonic since watching your vlogs. At 62 there is only so much you can change without surgery, which scares me. But ... I do think I’m looking better since finding you imho. Also , not everyone gets to be old. If I have to look old to be old so be it 😀

I started using my hands to wash my face after watching your videos. I knew my skin was too sensitive to use the Clarisonic brush, but had always used a washcloth. I did debate getting a Foreo, but glad I did not after watching this video. Thanks for all of the help you give us Dr. Dray!

I have a sonic Zoe and I love the way it is shaped because it has a point to get into tight spaces. It also has a backside to apply moisturizer and I have seen an improvement in my pore size because they are clean. When you started talking about toothbrushes I just purchased a Quip a few months ago and was at the dentist and my teeth were cleaner. Thanks

I have one of these (albeit the larger one) so it was super interesting to see your review. I rememer the first time I used it, my skin was soo soft and glowy afterwards I was shook. Now, I recon it has the same effect but because I'm used to it I don't think much of it. I use it every day in the shower; it means I don't need to exfoliate aggressively which is great. PS. to anyone interested, they're expensive but also the charge in them lasts for about a year it's mad. I'd second her recommendation! PPS. lots of people will think you have a vibrator just chilling in the shower....

Hi Dr Dray.....I have not tried the toothbrush but I was gifted the full size foreo recently. I very much enjoy using it. The gentle massage it gives my face feels great and luxurious! I use it every morning. In the evening i use my fingers to cleanse before using my Curology product. Thank you for the review.

I have the original version and love it. I saw a difference after a few weeks of twice a day use. I also like that it’s gentle and easy to keep the device itself clean.

Your cute expressions in this video made my day! Thanks for reviewing the Luna Fofo for us. Been curious to find out if a device like this works better but I think our hands are good enough to do the job of cleansing our face. I can imagine the vibration being soothing though, great for massaging the face while cleansing. 😁

I have an off brand version from Amazon that I got for like $19 to use specifically as she suggested to break myself from scrubbing too much. I love it and have definitely become more comfortable with my skin without constantly scrubbing

Same! Mine is amazing! I use it with my moisturizer and it is Heaven. $20. I use it when I wake up and it gets the blood flowing.

I really like the Luna fofo.. it has cleaned out my pores and made my breakouts happen less and their not as bad. I think it’s helping my skin.

Huh, I found a cheap version for $12 on amazon. But for the Foreo, on their website it’s like $118!? I didn’t see fofo line or whatever. Their Toothbrush however may be my answer to my problem with the sonic care, too much plastic in the trash. I only hope when my sonic care finally breaks down they will still be around. ✌🏼👌🏼💚

Loved your review on Fofo! I wouldn't want to spend 😙😙😙😙$40...on it... not crazy about it! I tried one similar from drugstore 2 years ago $29 with $5 discount and it died 1 month later.. didn't notice any skin enhancement at all....nada.... Wow really gimmicky... love your honesty!! I've never bought any of these type devices. My skin is so sensitive I imagine it would just react horribly to it. I do have microfiber wash clothes that I LOVE. That's enough for me.

I got the Foreo toothbrush on a black Friday deal. It was still about $100. In less than 6 months, I had a dramatic increase in gum recession and have stopped using it.

Dr. Dray! The Clarisonic does not spin. Specifically, the Mia 2. It vibrates just as the fofo does.

I have the original Luna (mini) and I've used it religiously for a good 3 years. Pairing that with a Cera Ve cleanser, my skin is consistently great. I feel bad for Foreo. The truth of the matter is their initial product line was so strong, I think they struggled to have customers continue patronizing me (ie.: my charge last 6 - 9 months and it is truly waterproof).

Quip electric toothbrush works well ! its more sleek and easy to store than sonicare ones, and they deliver new brush heads to your door.

You had me checking out the toothbrush yesterday, LOL! I liked that a charge lasts 365 DAYS. I like silicone gizmos as opposed to bristles. Much cleaner, imo. That said, it's a hefty price for a toothbrush. I do use a sonic toothbrush. I've got a Foreo Luna, the original, purchased when it was 1st intoduced. Also have a Clarisonic Mia & the big daddy Clarisonic ~> those have been unused for the past 2 years. The Foreo Luna is nice, seek & small, but I use it very rarely. Since I double cleanse, no need for it. Thank you for confirming (with proof!!!) what I'd suspected. The gadgets & gizmos are fun but unnecessary. Blessings! Jackie in NY state

I wish I could give this 10 thumbs up-what a fantastic review! That device you attached to your phone is so cool, although in the average person's hands it could be dangerous. Kind of like the 10x magnifying mirrors. I avoid those at all costs! Can't wait for my fff box to arrive!

I was really curious what you would think about this! I actually do feel a difference after washing in terms of sloughing off dead skin cells. I like that it’s easy to clean & share with my kids vs the clairisonic requires 3 different heads to do that. Thanks for your review!

The end of your Fo-Fo video made me realize there might be another group who could benefit from the device--older adults and others with rheumatoid or osteoarthritis. Less of a workout for sore finger joints, I imagine.

I have a luna mini 2. It did a better job at cleaning the blackhead on my nose than my hands. I don't rub it in my face, just gently tap it on the skin.
