Although the steps sound repetitive if you listen closely there are nuances in each and every one. Slight trips, kicking of stones and varying moisture underfoot. The listening aspect makes this video feel more visceral and inward for me which I am noticing in your recent videos in general. Lovely, it's like walking alongside a silent companion. 🙏

Thank you for your videos and content. I should be returning from my first Camino right now, but a month before I was to leave I had to have emergency surgery. I have since had a second surgery and have rebooked my trip for September. Being able to listen to your videos helped me keep up the excitement and motivation. I will also say that physically I am fairly prepared, I live in a mountain town and have been a climber/hiker most of my life, but as an introverted person the whole social aspect and cultural differences of something like the Camino have given me pause. For me listening to your narration, it’s helped me relax and be intentional about having an open mindset to really be able to take in the experience. Thanks again and hello from Bend, Oregon, USA!

hi Darren, I’m sorry to hear that… but then again, it’s great that your rebooked - walking the Camino is a great occasion to celebrate something like this! don’t worry about being an introvert, you’ll do just fine here. you can be solo, or in a group, or a mix of the two - it’s all good 😊. I’m sure you’ll love it - even some of the aspects you don’t expect to like! 👋🏻 to Oregon, and buen camino! ☀️

This is so great! I do a lot of hiking but since i lost a big part of my hearing since I joined the workforce, nowadays I'd only hear my feet on the ground. Not the clothing rubbing on itself or the banging of some part of the backpack, nor a shallow flowing stream beside the path. If I hear a bird other than a crow, it instantaneously cheers me up. Thank you for bringing the sound recorder onto this trip! Buen camino!
