This song reminds me of my wife. We met our freshman year of high school. We went bowling on our first date and I'll never forget the love that I felt in that moment. We were 18 when we found out we were going to be parents. I was so afraid, but I knew that she is the only person in the whole wide world that I would want to have my children with. I started a job working with a local mechanic, and the very best part of my day was coming home to my girls. When I got hurt at work and couldn't work, she got a job to help take a load off of my back. She was willing to do anything and everything for her family and the ones that she loved. It was then, when she was driving to work on September 12th 2019 at 5:47am that she was hit by a drunk driver. She was taken from my daughter and I way too soon. I spent months blaming myself and even after all these years, it is still hard. My daughter, showed me this song and I felt my wife with me. As I continued listening to the song, I remembered all of the things we did together. I remembered when I proposed to her, when we had our daughter, and when we made a promise to love one another through sickness and health. I feel comfort in knowing I married the woman who was my soulmate and that I made so many wonderful memories with her. Forever and ever, babe.

I will always try to be the best guy I can for my girl, even in hard times i hope to be there for her. As any guy who promises a girl he loves her should.
