Nice to see the gang back in action. You were away too long. Nice intro about having to drag the ASV up the hill. A lot of times we don’t realize what you go through to set up a job. One thing, if I may: I really admire the way you care for your equipment. If you’re serious about what you do, preventative maintenance is a must. I don’t care how well it’s built, neglect it and pay the price. Your ASV will be around and in good shape for quite a while, because you get it.

How steep of a slope do you think the skid steer with the forestry mulcher could operate? Kitsuma in Old Fort/Black Mountain and the Point Lookout Trail have been consumed by kudzu. The method for permanent removal is to remove the crowns. But this is several hundred yards of decently steep banks and being able to take the mulcher down for several passes around the perimeter and to clear some walking lanes to work would be incredible.

Hey Jon, looks like a bumper crop of poison sumac, you're harvesting there. A reminder, just getting in and out of the equipment after this, equivalent to rolling on the ground. I would be making a doctor's appointment for a shot, just looking at the stuff!

That's a serious piece of kit, wouldn't like to get my toe in the way of it! 🤣😂🤣 Chris at Letsdig18 could have used something like this for his last clearance job. But then again I suppose driving a dozer is more fun.

May not have been a big lot, but it made up for the small size in the density of the brush and trees. Those big trees you ground up, is it because of the new machine and its capability, or have I just not payed attention in the past to see you grind up big trees with the other machine? Looks really nice and groomed. Good to see the whole crew back at it again. Thanks for the ride along sir.

I didn't give it thumbs down, but I did think about it. I hate when the poster turns a video into a music video. Why? What if I was in the market for this machine and mulcher? I can't hear how it runs, when does it slow down in heavy brush? How hard is the engine working? How noisy is the cab? I'm subscribed will keep checking in, I though you might like a bit of feed back.

Now that you have used the 135 a few weeks what are your thoughts? What are your actual operating costs? I have a 75 and am on a list for a 135 but not sold I want to go that direction as the air filter on the 75 seems to get clogged every 4 hours and am disappointed on the overall true cost to operate and wanted to see feelings with the 135 around the same.

You got that right. When I was in high school I worked for the farmer next door. I’m a pretty big guy so my job was to put the loaded racks of tobacco on the trailer and hang them in the barn. For those who don’t know what I’m talking about the racks have two parts. One side has almost a eighteen inch spikes that hold the tobacco in the rack. One of the racks came unfastened so I used my foot to kick it closed. Just happened that one of those spikes had bent and pointing the wrong way. I drove that spike all the way through the bottom of the shoe through my foot and out the top. The guy that was working with me passed out when I asked him to pull the spike out. I had to pull it out myself. It hurt like crazy.
