I loved Mary and Francis and their love story. But I also enjoyed that Mary seemed to get even stronger after he died, as a woman and a queen. Her life, in this series, had a lot of pain in it but she persevered and fought for what she wanted. Luckily, after a life of struggle and much of it on her own, in the end she found peace in heaven with Francis!
