How do you know how to measure your chemicals

@@colejason1968 If you’re down streaming from a pressure washer it’s usually always 80- 20 the average chlorine is usually 12% so if you’re dropping your soap line from your pressure washer straight into chlorine you’re spraying about 3% on the house. Obviously adding water to the chemical will dilute your percentage. Also most people who do roof washing and soft washing have a blend manifold which tells you what percent of chlorine you’re making these blend manifolds are very expensive about 500 bucks and they usually attach to a 12 V pump that is usually about $250- $300 it’s self. If you were down streaming with pressure washer and using Walmart bleach you’re probably only putting about .5% on the house maybe one percent if you’re lucky. When you’re buying chemical make sure it’s called chlorine not bleach bleach is a water down Version chlorine… 80-20 means 80 parts of water 20 parts of chemical. Good luck

If it’s wood while you’re washing the house or doing a roof wash you should always pre-wet a wood fence in less you plan on shooting it at no extra cost to the client. If this is a vinyl fence you just down stream it with your pressure washer and then rinse it with fresh water. Results are passed one SH is used. If you do not have a pressure washer take a backpack sprayer or a pump up sprayer and mix it with household bleach and water half to half and then spray fence and then rinse with hose…PS Make sure you give chemical time to dwell especially if you do not have pressure washer and you are rinsing with garden hose.

how often does your typical customer get a wash? every 12 months?

Downstream generally mixes 10: 1 water and chemical. So you need the right strength chemical I’m the bucket (ten time the strength you want to use).

You can use Bleach at 6% or 12% both diluted well. Some people use pool shock from pools stores too

if you fill up a 15 gal tank of 15% SH solution you'll have 15%. If you fill up 14 gal of water and add 1 gal of 15% you'll get 1 %.. give or take*

Yes keep it wet or it could rapidly oxidize

Apply a surfactant and then hose down the house (using a foam canon) with a chemical mix of Pool essentials, a bit of laundry soap, and water 3. Wait 3 to 5 minutes then rinse down with water. Am I missing any basic steps or that about does it?

From what I understand, he's saying a .75 PERCENT. Not even a full 1% of bleach. So for a gallon of solution (128 oz) you would do 128*.0075 (for .75%) and get just under one fluid oz of bleach. Could be wrong
