I like how the bigger the weapon the more delicate they are with it. "Well your zweihander did great in the pillow cutting test. Now to test your pocket knife we will bash it against this radiator."

The bigger the weapon, the longer the reach. Most of the time they are meant to be used as Finesse weapons to make precise strikes. Zweihanders don't fall under that category though, It is a heavy weapon made to break bone and slice through spine. This one is made to stab in the softer spots of a person, in-between ribcages or in the stomach. Most knifes are made to withstand more than a fight, as a survival tool or a chopper. The reason they are tested more extensively is because they will be used long term, most well made knifes are a lifetime expense.

Jason is way better than some of the previous contestants, there's a small gap in forge skills with mike, if only he could have got another opponent Jason would definitely win

Iv'e studied blade smithing, and over the course of this series, these guys, especially Mike, have probably been some of the best smiths Iv'e seen. Impressive work, impressive skill, and as a spear user, I would be honored to use either of those weapons. Nice job guys.

I am an advertiser and my living revolves around promoting things other people enjoy. THIS IS WHAT I ENJOY! LITERALLY MY FAVORITE SHOW SINCE DAY 1! I have turned a bunch of people onto it that watch things like The Bachelor and RuPaul's Drag Race..... THEY LOVE FORGED IN FIRE! One thing I hear often is "how respectful everyone is of one another" and "how the focus is the craft, not "winning". 10/10 P.S. @HISTORY lets get another season for this!

I wanna see more authentic Chinese weapons being made and tested on this show, including the ge dagger-axe, the military ji (different from the qinglong ji), the goulian qiang hooked spear, the guandao glaive, the langxian wolf brush, etc.
