Never been a fan of the nautilus,but I do love the traditional calatrava range.

Theres one more dial version of the 5712, about 2019 introduction of the slightly larger hour marker dots at 5/7 or 25/35 mins

I love Jasper's videos and expertise, this is another well executed one, congrats. The subdial setting of this watch still to me is a unharmonic no-go, and I fully understand why its cleaner 5711, 3700 and 3800 Nautilus brothers are way more popular.

I generally don't like clocks with three hands and date: boring and ordinary. I want something else: GMT, bezel, another way to display the date, an exotic material like porcelain. The all-powerful Nautilus 5711 doesn't surprise and bore me, but, it's the transitional Nautilus like the 5712 and 3800 that I like. They are different and justify what they are worth. Alternatives, other very legitimate Genta shine a lot and it is enough to look at the decade of the 60s to see how the integrated bracelets already existed to realize that they have nothing profane.

The 5712’s dial annoys me. I really don’t like it.Prefer the purity of the 5711,but not worth the ridiculous prices being bandied about.
