I remember the 1st time I saw The Street Fighter Anime movie. It's still my favorite Street Fighter movie or show. The moves Bison used, I never would've thought he had power like that. When he told Ken&Ryu "I'll fight you on your OWN level, C'MON"! One of my favorite lines.

Everything will always revolve around Bison in Street Fighter whether he's long gone or not there will always be some type trace of him whether it's through characters that in some way have ties to him or being mentioned he will always be Street Fighter biggest antagonist.

Bison is like Akuma who gotten rid of his humanity to let the psycho power consume him.

M Bison represented evil personified in the Street Fighter universe. Everything about him exuded villainy. His portrayal in Street Fighter: The Animated movie really fleshed him out as a character; Capcom would built upon this for future games. Raul Julia's portrayal of Bison was the perfect mix of evil, dead pan, morbid humor, and epic one liners. After watching the well done Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, I got an idea for a series. It would be the origin stories for the four Grand Masters of the Street Fighter 2 series. A majority of them attention would be given to Sagat and M. Bison. It would show Sagat's rise from abject poverty, to the King of Muay Thai, and then to the most powerful fighter in the world. It would also show the beginnings of the man the world would come to know as M. Bison. His entire relationship with Rose, his master and other disciples would be fully explored.

Really want to see Bison vs. JP in a future Street Fighter installment if possible only Bison and Seth the only bosses that clashed in the franchise.

I find it interesting that for someone who uses EXCLUSIVELY Psycho Power, Vega* (JP) did not get completely annihilated by Shun Goku Satsu, despite it attacking you on a spiritual level and using all of your evil against you. As we know, Vega created Shadaloo in order to get enough power to dominate humanity so that the natural balance of life and death on Earth could continue, seeing humanity as greedy locusts. Ironically, his actual message is far more open and positive for the world than even the protagonists themselves. * Vega is the Japanese name of M. Bison. That's how I know him, and that's how I'll call him.

No offense, but saying that "M. Bison isn't evil" is like saying "Carnage isn't Genocidal."

Personally, I believe that Bison is and will always be an evil person. Based on the lore, this man sent the dolls after Chun-Li’s father and committed several other despicable crimes. Hopefully, Rose will train Chun-Li, Cammy, Ed, and Falke in mastering Soul Power. These aforementioned individuals must understand this alternative source of positive power through extensive training with Rose.

In Capcom Fighting Evolution/Fighting Jam, Ingrid, one of the characters in the game tells Bison that power he calls 'Psycho power' isn't really his, rather it belongs in some shape or form to Ingrid herself same as the psycho drive. I dunno how canon that game is but I feel it deserves mention.

He reminds me of Sigma from Megaman X.

For me his name remains Vega and the bokser Mike Bison since even in SF1 his name was Mike already. I dont respect the usa name swop. His name is Vega folks lets normalise calling him by his og name

Here's another theory: M. Bison might originally have been a woman and Rose might be what he looked like. His perfect clone was Cammy that he was going to use as his next body before she got free. Plus Falke is another clone of his. All the dolls are also his spare bodies. Now there have been male clones, namely the bodies he normally uses and also Ed is obviously male and so is Abel who was deemed failure by Bison. And of course Bison also considered using mechanical bodies like Seth but that failed. In any case, considering Rose, Cammy, Falke and dolls, Bison originally might have been a woman and switched to male body or it became male once Rose and Bison got separated. In any case, Bison seems to want to be a big chested blonde woman.

Thats a interesting concept on bison. Personally i have reached to a point where i see that good is from one source biblically,ill use this as a way to eplain what i mean. taking over the world an destroying the world has always been the main objective of most hidden entity an or the powers that be,but saving the world is just as bad objective if the motives are not in favor of the creators will, destroying the world an creating a new one now can be seen as a true good concept. i also understand that this idea is not shared an is a matter of opinion just like the concept of bison being good. but thank you for your hard work an keep it up my friend .take care

Never understand how Rose have a hard time beating Bison when she's suppose to be his equal she did manage to defeat him once back in Alpha and the rest of their battles usually Bison beats her or who won between them is unknown. Chun-Li needs to beat Bison she has the biggest beef and hatred for Bison than anyone she only beats him outside of the games like Guile but Chun-Li always take the most L's from Bison I hope one day Chun-Li does settle the score against Bison once and for all.
