who do you think is better? sampo + kafka or serval + kafka? cause I invested a lot on both and I dont want to let go of sampo but I also like pulling kafka

@@jadenichols1873 Tbh its a bit up in the air and is quite dependent on the way you build kafka. There are two main paths you either build Kafka to try and Ult every two enemy turns which is gonna require stuff like the new free lightcone next patch and probably a decent amount of speed or you just ditch that and build her normally and pair her with Serval. The biggest thing Serval does is make Kafka's DoTs proc forever (including break DoT's) meaning Kafka doesnt have to worry about ult spamming. Ideally though you would use both as they can both work in skill point neutral setups and then some sort of giga healer to keep everyone alive.

@@baltstop2702 With how much Serval refunds energy +Tingyun its possible but you need multiple enemies in order to do it successfully. I was able to do it during the Svarog boss fight in simulated universe but I had a bunch of effects that ensured I could recharge. Hope we get more energy recharge based supports in future tho.

​​@@baltstop2702 with a 3 unit scenario, like a Gepard fight and E2, you gain 42 energy per skill and 32 energy per basic attack. Serval Ult: 100 energy cost Energy Gain Basic: 20 Skill: 30 E2 Proc: 4*units shocked. With ERR stats, or if you get hit or kill something, you get enough to ult again. She's a skill neutral, sometimes positive character, which works well with another DPS/Sub DPS or Nihility. PS: if the units go up to 5, hitting shocked units with skill will grant 50 energy and basics will grant 40. Her E2 is effectively the best 4* eidolon in the game. Also, she works well with Sampo and Kafka. Side note, Break Effect Rope works really well on her, since her numbers aren't very high, but she gains a lot from DoT effects.

Also there is pre TC going on. They have just start discussing Serval break effect DoT since the damage is quite good along with her capability to extend that duration.

This. Her trace, E2 and E4 have huge synergy with her light cone and spamming her ultimate helps proc her talent outside regular turn cycle. Obviously not broken but just a solid unit.

imagine 3 lightning 1 quantum team with serval jingyuan tinyun (with dmg bonus lc) and silverwolf. serval and tingyun dont need much skillpoints, complimenting jy and sw. Seems like a really fun brute force comp. maybe even sub jy for kafka in the future

@@grizzlyadams1929 If you have Bailu, you can replace Tingyun with her. Unless you run into some boss in future patches that can deal crazy high damage in a short amount of time, Bailu can serve as a pseudo-preservation character. Also, Silverwolf can fulfill Tingyun's role with different pros and cons. I might actually try this out.

You can run Serval on a double dps team and she will happily feed your Yanqing / Dan etc skill points while still doing decent damage and providing AoE. I have Jing Yuan and he feels absolutely terrible in double dps. Only way to play him is with Tingyun or Tingyun + Asta/Bronya. I'm committed to this meme comp at this point so I'll be rolling on Silverwolf banner to try and E6 my Asta, but it's honestly a clownshow at this point.

@@jinliangfoo8546100% agree. For Jing Yuan you REALLY need all the stats to align to let him really be proper good where as serval just seems like someone u can slap on any team. I really hate these kinds of units like Jing Yuan

@@07Lightless ... That´s because Jing Yuan is a Hypercarry Dps like Seele. You want to use both in their respective Hypercarry teams or else you´re wasting damage potential.

@@LshowKnows That’s true to an extent but Seele will be fine without any supports like bronya or ting yun. Jung Yuan really struggled without Ting Yuan because his energy cost is stupid high and he does no damage and is very slow.

You wan´t Tingyuan with him because she was designed for him, not only does she fix the small energy problem (cause it´s not as bad as you´re pretending it to be), she also buffs lightning damage while gaining skill points. This is a team based game, you can´t run Seele in MoC without any supports either, her kit is hungry for skill points and would make no sense to ruin her damage potential by stripping her of supports.

How would that even work? Who do the DoT do to? If Kafka activates someone's DoT, is it credited to her or them? What about the massive damage amp Silverwolf or Pela can give?

@@randomcatname7792ittle bit late, but it could be grouped under a separate thing just labeled 'DOT'. From what they said, they don't really need to know who's contributing the most DOT to the team, only that it's doing comparable DMG to single-target teams. Would be a bit weird, but still better than no indication whatsoever other than DMG calcs. No idea what to do about defence shred, though.

Why can’t you count how many times DoT triggered and just do some simple multiplication? Use a screen recorder if you struggle doing it in real time. That’s what many guide makers do already

His physical toughness is easy to break with Sushang. I recommend to use her, if you have.

@@DestaLosta i have her, my team for gepard is fire MC, sushang, natasha, and serval, i dont have the best artifacts for all of them, so SU 4 gepard is borderline impossible lmao, tho i have got him to 1/4 health 3rd phase so theres that, and hes the only SU boss i havent beaten

@@theysaidimasian9766I only use 4 star relics and it was a walk in the park for me. I used abundance with Bailu Sushang and March 7th. Sushang is all you need and if you just focus on keeping her alive then you can even put it in auto and let it afk win the battle for you. Not the fastest way but easiest and most brain dead.

@@07Lightless i finally beat him last night, still used same team but i used the destruction path instead, it was tense since that path basically requires you to be at half or lower health at all times lmao

This is the reality for MOST HSR players... do NOT get discourage when seing big numbers of 4-star characters or the "simping" in the comments. Most are whales or spenders who can afford leveling +10 chars, Crit Rate +60% and relics to lvl 12-15....and Obviously E6 (lol). That's NOT reallity for most. You (and I) will get there!

Yes, that's the same reason why I only rolled for his lightcone instead.. Serval is a straightforward rock & roll YOLO char, she's also way more affordable to build since she's only 4★, of course all 4★s come with a caveat that they have less output from those 5★, but I'm just an F2P..😂

Honestly jing yuan is easy to build. And easy for rotations too. Maybe you just can't read....
