Came across your channel randomly (thanks algorithm!) and while the smithing is good, the stress-free kid interruptions are better. Keep being an example to dads that our kids are not a distraction and not a hassle. Good work, brother

Wow... just wow... your pride in craftsmanship is obvious!!! This is a gorgeous piece of work... haven't a clue what it's worth but I know what it's worth to you!!! You truly put your heart and soul into this one and it shows... thanks for including the visits from the kiddos. Between the video editing, steel forging, leather work, and sewing you truly do it all... again just amazing work!!!

Excellent videos. Suggestion: when your older daughter asked what you were doing, you could have explained how you were looking for imperfections, much the same as you were doing, at that point, for viewers. She sounded genuinely interested. I remember my daughter knew she could do anything a boy could. Now, at 53, she's a top ranking triathlete. I remember one time, when she was four, I was unsuccessfully fixing a Baby Ben wind-up alarm clock. When I told her I wasn't getting anywhere, she said, "Can I take it apart, Dad?" I had no idea that little clock had so many screws in it but I think she got every one. Then, when she was done, I asked her if she was going to put it back together, she smiles, said, "No." ...and, of course, walked away.

Very nice! My forge will be in the mail today and I'll start putting it together tonight, I'm looking forward to this new adventure in hopes that it will help me become a better civilian again. Military is over, it's time to try this again! Your videos have really helped and encouraged me, thank you for that!

Cool man, best of luck. Let me know if you have any questions I can help with

@@FireCreekForge my only question is, why is everyone hoarding anvils and making it impossible to find a decent one? 😆 I say it jokingly but I really can't find a decent anvil for what the military is paying me and it really is frustrating. But I'm probably going to try the Harbor Freight one just to say that I have an anvil.
@FireCreekForge2 жыл бұрын
@@rvsbladesnthangs Yep, they are hard to find, but not impossible.. Facebook marketplace (if you're on that), sometimes craigslist, farm and estate sales, putting the word out to other smiths

Неплохо! Только для ниток лучше было бы сделать канавку, чтобы они не выперали и случайно не перетёрлись. Моё мнение.
