Forging a HUGE pattern Welded bar at Eveleigh Works Redfern (better Audio)

For this video we go and visit Matt Mewburn at Eveleight Works 1880's Locomotive workshop turned School of Blacksmithing. Flaming hot mischief abounds.
This is actually a collaboration I was invited to join by Sam Fowler and Irish Mike. Matt and I forge a HUGE billet of pattern welded steel that will be forwarded onto Sam for shaping and machining. Then onto Michael Cthulhu for some of his slick fabricating magic to produce a sword that will be passed down through the centuries... we hope!

Haha yeah mate, don't need sharpening stones if its heavy and you swing hard enough... and you dont care what happens to the target ;)

Thanks for watching guys. The sound on one works for some and not others. I'm a knifemaker, not much chop with the videos or editing though.

Bat Country Forge Might be worth making the second video private, then you have a single video to catch all related traffic and no-one will be able to accidentally watch the wrong one :-) Keep up the great work! The video stuff can only get better, eh?

Thats strange, I didn't know Sam worked on horses hooves 🤔 and was an author 🤔🤔 and has been to six countries 🤔🤔🤔 and that his name is SIMON instead of SAM 🤔🤔🧐🧐
