I agree with everyone else, you make these look WAY to simple to make. I think this video could used as an advertisement for whatever type of power hammer you are using. It also makes a GREAT advertisement for taking your class. Any thoughts of doing a tool-making class?

Man you made that look easy,awesome vid,I seems like I have seen that die used in the KA75 demo vids as well,do you mind sharing the demensions of that die for setting working end demensions?

Joys of a power hammer. Use large diameter stock, do it all by reduction ./ lengthening to make the reigns, rather than thinner stock and upsetting to thicken to make the hinge / jaws, and a very robust looking end result.

ok that was awesome to watch. you just cruised right on through it. so stupid question. when you were using the hammer were you spinning it in between strike or am i just losing my mind. and if you were, why

probsty13 I was turning the stock 90 degrees between blows in order to heat up the stock, making the heat last longer.

i actually meant after when you were using the sledge. it looked like you were spinning the head. like a couple blows and then spin and a couple more. sorry i know nothing
