Anger at God was something deep in my heart from 1983 through 2003. Everyday since, I thank Him for the miracle He showed me to want to follow Him again.

Thank you John. I didn't think I needed to forgive God for anything, but listening to your words left a tear in my eye, and leads me to re-think about all that Jesus has done for me, and how much I undervalue his sacrifice for me.

good morning ☀️, thank you, Jesus loves me this I know… I love that I can get mad, question him and yet, I am still forgiven, still loved, and a daughter of my King. This is why I am here…this is where I get my strength from and all else pales because I feel loved in my good, bad and ugly. 🙏🏻💕🍃

Boy. This is very helpful. I felt guilty about being mad at God for my cancer diagnosis. It really felt like abusive relationship. God is love, I’m your child and here is a cancer. It rocked my relationship with him. However. I needed to be real raw with God and it helped. Anger frustration betrayal etc. I’m still in process but this teaching helps immensely.

This is so helpful and profound, thank you! Another tricky question is how to forgive people who keep on and on doing the things I'm trying to forgive them for! They're not just past hurts, they're present and future hurts too! 🤔

It’s in this un-unforgiving in God’s direction that I finally see how much I want and need the reconciliation aspect of forgiveness. I could be fine the rest of my life to be rid of the one who hurt me deeply, but I wouldn’t last an hour without God.
