I'm now 71 and this brings back so many good memories of nights in Manumission, Ibiza .. we're never too old to "throw a few shapes" when listening to these timeless classics. Thank you for the upload and keep up the great work.

@@timwilliams6743 I've been very lucky in life, Tim. My first ever concert was when I was backpacking around the USA as a fresh faced 17 year old, and I literally walked into what later became known as Woodstock (not that I remember too much about it, haha!). 😎

I'm 21, so I wasn't really around when this trance era was, but it is the era of trance that is the best to me. It really helps me focus when I'm studying and just relax. I'm glad we have the internet to keep these gems alive.

You are 21, so you existed during the time it was going on. Let that sink in, YOU actually existed when this music was around. You maybe not hip to it or knew of it, but you are from the time of it. I was born the 2nd to last day of 1983 on December 30th! I damn sure started Kindergarten late due to December B-DAY, so yeah, I do remember 80's music as I was nearly 6 by the time I even entered school. So I can appreciate that music., like you can appreciate this music.

Hell, I'm 66 and used to cut code to tunage like this. Still like writing and processing images with this going. Can't turn it up to loud in the darkroom though, the enlarger starts to wiggle

Man, there's something magical about the late 90s and early 00s. People were just so optimistic about the future, you know? I will always associate these tracks with that feeling of optimism. Fun from a time before the world went to shit. Then came all the preludes to this insanity we live in today. The world has gotten a lot more complicated and dangerous, but music has been and will always be there to connect us and our feelings. Thank you so much for this upload.

Modern stuff nowadays is just commercial and has nothing to do with real music which is being created with passion and soul 90's and 00's were times when money and pressure of music labels weren't on so as strong position as today

I'm 40, dance music has been a staple in my diet since '94. Some thing in life are fleeting & quickly forgotten. Other things burn themselves deep into the very essence of what you are. Like a cattle brand. I def can't rave anymore, I've got too many potholes in my brain as is. Never enough tunes, though.

so sad to think of the fact that I stopped listening to Tiesto 11 years ago :((( but between 2002-2008 he was the absolute number1! Saw him then few years ago at EDC UK and then Creamfields too, oh my days (those videos can be found on my videochannel tho). Great mix btw :)

Tiesto's good but he's a far cry from the king of dj's, there's too many different dj's remaking and remixing songs to crown a king IMO. Most of my favourite trance songs are either from artists who made one hit wonders and/or have obscure names that no one would remember 😁 e.g Legend B - Lost in Love, BT - Flaming June, York- On the Beach.

this is far from forgotten. i grew up on this from early nineties 96-04 was a golden era. i'm really shocked you got so many great artists that if you talk to club kids today they don't have a clue who they are. great work. ok you could have laid off the chicane but it's hard to do!

Todays Trance has no soul and it was lost in the late aughts to commercialization to promote overpriced festivals. Hopefully we see a revival of this beautiful and enigmatic genre that is timeless and ethereal. Until then, mixes like this will populate my YT.

I always wait before I like a SONG/MIX because I am a huge trance/house lover and unfortunately most mixes have 1-2 good songs, the rest are mediocre. This mix, I had to like and add to my playlist. Well chosen songs and blended nicely. Thumbs up brother !
