I'm pretty sure that angled grip Bergmann is just a "sporterized" 1910 pattern with new grips. If you squint really closely you can see the thickness of the grip frame is not uniform along the full length of the front strap and backstrap. It looks like a gunsmith put a torch to that frame and carefully eased it into its current shape on anvil. It's hard to notice as Ian is not showing the grips from the front or back clearly, but the metal grip frame near the top looks to have had the finish/bluing burnt off or discolored black, a clear indication of heat. At 3:53 Ian lifts the pistol off the table and you can see the front strap just under the trigger guard is a mess of different colors from factory finish to sooty black to white unfinished steel. The same goes for the backstrap at 1:38 just before Ian grips the pistol you can see the top of the backstrap is much darker than the rest of the grip frame which the finish has worn off with handling. Furthermore the side plate screw under the left grip panel is the earlier eccentric version before Danish production changed it to the 2 dimple spanner type screw.

I will never get tired of Bergmann videos. It's probably my favorite turn of the century Pistol.

Bergmans are a meme at this point, but I love them too so I’m not complaining about seeing more of them! Such a great looking gun and a great piece of mostly forgotten history

Wow, this is the best look for a Bergmann I've seen. That grip angle really does wonders aesthetically.

Ian I know that I'm off topic but "the complete book of tokarev pistols" arrived yesterday. I find it very interesting, thanks for your video about it, I'm a fan of those pistols...and your videos of course.

That is beautiful. Great finish, better sights and grip angle.
