Is hiranyagarpa in anyway related to Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasyapu?

No, Hiranya means gold, so that is used in many words. Hiranyagarbha is the golden egg that contains entire universe in itself.

@@RaviAnnaswamy @Ravi Annaswamy it's found in the hiranyagarbha suktam of Rig veda... And there're manifold explanations of God and his names and forms in each scripture even in each portions of the scriptures.. In the vedas,there are even those suktams which refer to Vishnu/Shiva/Shakti(Devi) and each personal diety as God ... And so,because of such variety and diversified ways of explanations are present it becomes difficult for one to decide the right one.. Hence,the school of Orthodox indian philosophy named Vedānta comes and reconciles the teachings and diversified explanations of the Vedas into a single underpinning reality, whom they refer to as Brahman(The Absolute Truth signified often as 🕉)which shows one's the clarity of these explanations as Brahman manifesting as so many,leading to so many appearances and hence,originating names and forms like Hiranyagarbha sometimes, Vishnu the other times,Shiva ,Shakti...etc... Yet it is unmanifested,immutable and existence-consciousness-bliss . I hope it's clear and comprehensive. Thank you!

Hiranyagarbha is ,in a loose sense is the same as Brahma the creator of the universe
