Formals story in the beginning about getting on his brothers xbox was real talk man. Growing up trying to squeeze in as much gametime as possible after school or waking up early af just to hop on and get a few matches in, that pure excitement of a new game dropping and putting in every possible hour. 360 days were the best years of gaming.

You have to understand that developers usually have very fluid time off. At my company in fintech, most of us save some of our PTO (like a month or two weeks) and use it at the end of the year. It's just common for people to want to use their PTO before the end of the year, especially during he holidays

I feel like a big part of us respecting halo pros growing up was because of MLG. Halo was its baby and they did a good job promoting the pros in it. Walshy, Ogre twins, Tsquared, etc were viewed as living legends back in the 2000’s.

Yo Maniac, you should check out Kava Kava (the real stuff, bula kava house is close to tx iirc) for your nerves. It's basically changed my life in regards to alcohol and anxiety. Used to drink 2-3 tall cans a night, often more, in combo with a couple dabs, but since picking up kava I have fully cut out alcohol and gotten to the point where I only sip on a cup of kava if my anxiety is bad. Not for everybody, but after watching so many of your podcasts your mental health symptoms feel like a carbon copy of how mine used to be. Added bonus of it tasting like shit, so the temptation of using it frequently is not exactly appealing (I've got a VERY addictive personality as well)
