@@NAIDECh mc annihilator didn’t work for me, but then i tried with mc killer and now finally worked and fixed my memory card

I came across a way to format ps1 memory card, if you have a game called Distruptor, you can find the format option under memory card options, very neat.

That sounds like either an import or your memory card has been corrupted.

I’m probably not gonna get an answer from anybody cause people are stupid but my silver PS2 slim won’t even give me the option to format this 256 MB memory card I just bought for my PS2. When I went to save progress on a game it says “no memory card detected”. What on earth is going on?

I have no idea. It sounds like a faulty third-party product (which is why I only trust OEM memory cards for classic video game consoles to this day). It's just my theory since I'm not entirely sure what the problem is.

@@TheFurryMemelord Well, me too since several years ago, I read several negative reviews of various third-party PlayStation 2 memory cards on Amazon complaining that they would not work as well as official Sony ones, so you would be better off purchasing and using OEM ones from now on.

@@semtapeacao1337, Intenté con mc annihilator 2.0 pero no funcionó, luego probé con mc killer.elf y pude formatear, ahora la memory card funciona. Utilicé freedvdboot y un pendrive.
