Former Billericay Town owner Glenn Tamplin is wanted by police after failing to appear in court. Tamplin, who also served as chief of Romford, is known for luring former Premier League players Jermaine Pennant and Jamie O'Hara to his former club. He failed to comply with a community order last year and did not show up to court earlier this year. In addition, he had a second arrest warrant issued in October for possession of cocaine. Tamplin became owner of Billericay Town in 2016, using some of his £40 million fortune from the steel industry. However, he faced trouble when he allegedly made inappropriate comments to O'Hara's then-fiancée. Despite this, O'Hara became player-manager of the club. Tamplin left Billericay in 2019 and took over Romford before quitting football and moving abroad 16 months later. Anyone with information on Tamplin's whereabouts is urged to contact Hertfordshire Police.
