It's bad enough to force the repeated acknowledgement of the queens passing on families who'd lost their own loved ones around the time (mine included), when they might just want some normalcy or, at least, to not face the reminder of death over and over again. But to close the food banks? That's ridiculous. A church in my town stopped their weekly food giveaway and asked the people who were going to attend if they wanted to sign the book of condolences. Never mind that the food might have been the only warm meal some might have had that day. All in all, I'm not against people mourning the queen and I understand she was a big figure (well, if I didn't then I do now ). But the reaction the country had to her passing is shameful when problems and the world don't stop for anyone else's passing.

Seeing the way veterans have been treated - here in Canada - I would discourage any young person from enlisting and becoming fodder in the cause of making huge profits for the arms producers. Charles apparently is a great supporter of WEF and while William and Kate come across as 'working royals' - am frankly sickened by the constant reports on her wardrobe!
